The nineteenth annual ‘Women Making a Difference’ awards reception was held by the Los Angeles Business Journal at the Millennium Baltimore Hotel in Los Angeles May 25th, 2010. Among the many exceptional nominees was our very own Laura Mcholm, nominated for her outstanding work as Co-founder and VP Marketing of NorthStar Moving. Along with some very inspiring and hard working women, we cheered for the 2010 winners. CEO of the year Gisselle Acevedo, from Para Los Ninos, gave a moving speech urging business leaders to take a part in their community- best place to start making a difference.
