Every city has its own charm. It doesn’t matter if you’re moving across country or just a couple towns over, each town has its charm and history. Where do I want to get moving this time? Reseda, CA! Reseda \u00a0is a district in Los Angeles, California. Once an agricultural town, Reseda grew into one of the first suburbs of the San Fernando Valley. People keep moving to Reseda, and Reseda keeps changing!<\/p>\n

Once upon a time, Reseda was a flourishing community just starting out! Sherman Way, the main street of Reseda, was full of hustle and bustle featuring a J.C. Penny department store, a J.J. Newberry five and dime, and even an ice skating rink! \u00a0The centerpiece of this community was the iconic Reseda Theater showcasing double feature movies. It was a sight to see as you were driving down Sherman Way.<\/p>\n

Reseda developed into a more suburban area filled with more and more homes because more and more people were moving to Reseda! Reseda is still changing to keep up, even the Reseda Theater is changing to keep up with all the people moving to Reseda. It is currently abandoned, but there are plans to update this iconic building<\/a>\u00a0of Reseda\u00a0into a new location for community activities.<\/p>\n

Speaking of community, you’ll often find the residents of Reseda taking a stroll at Reseda Park by the relaxing duck pond. It’s a favorite spot of families to feed the ducks. Get moving to Reseda, slow down and take a walk and feed some ducks.<\/p>\n

What else is there to Reseda? Watch a couple movies and find out! Locations in Reseda have been featured in a bunch of movies such as Boogie Nights, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the Karate Kid, and so many more! I’d get moving to Reseda to check out where some of my favorite scenes were shot. Reseda has changed quite a lot, so don’t be surprised if things don’t match up perfectly.<\/p>\n

Reseda, CA is such an amazing town! If you know where to look, you can see old Reseda mixed in with current Reseda. It’s interesting to see how things are always moving and changing in a seemingly small district like Reseda!<\/p>\n

One of the best benefits of living in Reseda and the San Fernando Valley is how close you are to everything. It’s just a short drive over the hill to Santa Monica, Hollywood, or Malibu. Not to mention you’re close to all the San Fernando Valley offers with close shopping malls and tons of locale!\u00a0There are so many appeals to moving to Reseda!
