If you love history, change of seasons, sports, the ocean, and a diversity of food, then Boston is the place to be! The largest city in New England and one of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston has something for everyone.<\/p>\n

If you are a history buff, follow Paul Revere\u2019s \u201cFreedom Trail\u201d through the city. If you don\u2019t remember from history class, Mr. Revere<\/a> is most famous for alerting Colonial militia of approaching\u00a0British forces\u00a0before the\u00a0battles of Lexington and Concord<\/a>. The trail is a red brick or painted line through the city that takes you through 16 historical sites and a half centuries of America’s most significant past. It\u2019s truly the best way to see the city.<\/p>\n

Boston was also the scene of several key events of the\u00a0American Revolution<\/a>, such as the\u00a0Boston Massacre<\/a>, the\u00a0Boston Tea Party<\/a> (check out the Boston Tea Party Museum and dump tea overboard just as the Sons of Liberty did!) the\u00a0Battle of Bunker Hill<\/a> and the\u00a0Siege of Boston<\/a>. Then there is the gorgeous Old State House. Built in 1713 to house the government offices of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, the Old State House is the oldest surviving public building in Boston and it is in the heart of the city, surrounded by skyscrapers.<\/p>\n

If you are a sports fanatic, then you will be at home in Boston. Bostonians are obsessed with their teams and they should be with repeat championship teams \u2013 Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Celtics, and the Bruins. Their stadiums are shrines from The Boston Garden<\/a> to Fenway Park<\/a>, built in 1912, it is the oldest sports arena in active use in the United States among the four major professional American sports leagues. And here is a tip, don\u2019t show up in Boston with a Yankees hat on!<\/p>\n

If you like to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer, then pack up your four season wardrobe and move to Boston. It has beautiful fall foliage, glistening snowfall for the holidays, the excitement of budding spring flowers, and hot summer days to enjoy the nearby ocean.<\/p>\n

Lastly, you might not think of Boston as a foodie city, but it has become one! The North End is Boston\u2019s little Italy with fantastic authentic Italian food, the South End is the swanky neighborhood with modern cuisine, and just over the last two years Boston has revitalized it\u2019s waterfront<\/a> with exciting new restaurants that offer ocean views and outdoor, seaside dining. Boston has everything from amazing Indian, Thai, modern Mexican, award winning burgers, seafood (of course), oh and don\u2019t forget that famed beer \u2013 Sam Adams!<\/p>\n
