Did you know there are over 600 pasta shapes to use in your pasta recipes? Or, that pasta is one of the few foods versatile enough to be a main course or a side dish? Whether you’re a cheesy kind of person or a marinara maven, you’re probably eager to add to your pasta recipes collection! Well, today’s the day – National Pasta Day<\/a>, that is! Once we’re done going through all these pasta recipes, we’ll all be ready to mangiamo! (That’s “eat” in Italian!)<\/p>\n

To celebrate the greatest holiday of our time, aka National Pasta Day, we can try one of the most basic pasta recipes of all \u2013 pasta! That\u2019s right, when I was looking for great pasta recipes, I found a basic,\u00a0simple method of making my own fresh pasta. Oh my, it\u2019s SO good! The pasta recipes I found included regular pasta and a recipe for spinach pasta!<\/a>\u00a0There are actually pasta recipes that call for all kinds of fun stuff like beets, tomatoes or spinach for color and flavor! \u00a0YUM! Veggies boiled right into my pasta!<\/p>\n

All the pasta recipes I found were great, but this one<\/a> had the best basic directions –\u00a0it even tells you how to make something fancy, like tortellini! And ravioli! And… you get the picture. The most basic of pasta recipes is still more versatile than almost any other food you could make! Pesto, Marinara, Alfredo, Garlic butter – pasta recipes are only limited by your imagination!<\/p>\n

When I started going through pasta recipes, I searched for recipes with lots of fresh veggies \u2013 success! Some amazing veggie pasta recipes came from this delicious place<\/a> \u2013 all their pasta recipes look so yummy that I\u2019m getting hungry just looking at them! Out of all the pasta recipes available, I\u2019m probably most excited about the cheese-and-nut-stuffed shells!<\/p>\n

Since it\u2019s fall, I wondered if there were some pasta recipes that could help us all eat fresh and seasonal \u2013 and I found these awesome pasta recipes based around the autumn season!<\/a> Using fresh, seasonal, locally-sourced vegetables is the best way to prepare any of these veggie pasta recipes.<\/p>\n
