Valentine’s Day is coming up! I celebrate Valentine’s Day as a day of love, a day to celebrate all my friends and family. And, a Valentine’s Day celebration usually means Valentine’s Day presents<\/a>! Instead of more clothes or chocolate, this year I want to spread the love on Valentine’s Day! I plan to donate in honor of my friends and family this Valentine’s Day. Here are some amazing charities that need our help this Valentine’s Day:<\/p>\n

Claire Wineland of Claire’s Place Foundation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Claire’s Place Foundation<\/h2>\n

If you’re not a stranger to my blog, you know how much Claire Wineland means to the Moving Happiness Home team. Claire Wineland <\/a>was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth, but she still smiles every second of the day. You know that warm, gooey feeling you get on Valentine’s Day? Claire’s story will fill you with that feeling.<\/p>\n

This amazing teenager started Claire\u2019s Place Foundation<\/a> in order to help children and families living with cystic fibrosis<\/a>. Through grants, knowledge, and emotional support, Claire’s Place celebrates love everyday, not just on Valentine’s Day! Donating to this wonderful cause is a great way to spread the love to deserving people and their families for Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n\n

My Stuff Bags Foundation<\/h2>\n

My Stuff Bags<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My Stuff Bags Foundation<\/a> is an amazing organization that the Moving Happiness Home team just recently discovered<\/a>. This wonderful organization helps ease children through the transition of being rescued from abuse, neglect, or abandonment by giving them their own stuff. By providing children across the nation with their own duffel bags filled with their own stuff like a blanket, toys, school supplies, and clothes, My Stuff Bags spreads the love like it’s Valentine’s Day everyday.<\/p>\n

What’s awesome about My Stuff Bags is that you can create something to donate in honor of Valentine’s Day! Right now the foundation urgently needs blankets<\/a>, but there are tons of other things to donate that<\/a> you can create or buy. Have a Valentine’s Day party where everyone crafts something to donate to these kids for Valentine’s Day! Or, you can all volunteer<\/a> for Valentine’s Day!<\/p>\n

Heifer International<\/h2>\n

Heifer International<\/a> wants to end hunger and poverty by helping families around the world. This organization allows you to help send gifts like irrigation pumps, sheep and honeybees to people in need. What a great way to spread the love on Valentine’s Day!<\/p>\n

With a wide variety of gifts <\/a>that start at $10, anyone and everyone can give Valentine\u2019s Day gifts through Heifer. What’s even better is that once you make a Valentine’s Day donation in someone’s honor, Heifer will mail them a sweet card from you! Valentine’s Day gifts have never been easier.<\/p>\n

These are only a few of the many great charities I love!\u00a0 Move for Hunger<\/a>, The Make-A-Wish Foundation\u00ae<\/a>, Kiva<\/a>, Habitat for Humanity \u00ae<\/a>, Karma Rescue<\/a> and the Lu Parker Project<\/a> are some of my other favorite places you can donate to on Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n
