Decorating any room is important. It sets the mood for everything! However, decorating a room for two can be tricky. Painting the walls a neutral color<\/a>, such as grey or beige, will make it easy to decorate using accessories. The accessories, such as bedding, wall d\u00e9cor, and rugs <\/a>are simple ways to put your own stamp on your side of the room. Sharing a room doesn’t mean getting lost in the other person’s style, it’s about finding ways to mesh the two.<\/p>\n

Arrange separate shopping time<\/h3>\n

Going shopping alone will help you pick out the items that you really like, without feeling pressured. Picking different accessories for the room will help create your own sense of style. So, no matter what your design taste is, don’t be afraid to be you–even when you’re sharing a room.<\/p>\n

Bunk Beds<\/h3>\n

Investing in bunk beds<\/a> is a good idea when sharing a room. Bunk beds are not only functional for two people but they also take up less space in the room! You know what that means!? This is imperative when sharing a room! Headphones<\/a> are not only good for listening to music, but they\u2019re also good for blocking out the noise. There may be times when you may not want to hear what your roomie is saying. Putting on headphones is a great way to get rid of the sound, and go into your happy place!<\/p>\n

A clean room is a happy room<\/h3>\n

It is easy to make your room messy with just one person in a room, so you can only imagine how messy it could get with two people sharing a room! It is very important to keep your room clean<\/a>. Having a clean room will keep both of you sane. You may be asking what if I am cleaner than my roomie? Well, if that\u2019s the case it\u2019s a good idea to create shared solutions<\/a>, that way both of you can agree on a boundary for the room.<\/p>\n

Lastly, keep a positive attitude! Keeping a positive attitude is great in any situation. It is a big stress reliever, and keeping positive vibes will make everyone content! Remember a clean room is a happy room!<\/p>\n
