Winter is coming and I can’t wait! I’m so excited for the snow I can hardly contain myself. Snow is not only beautiful, but fun. There are so many cool things you can do in the snow. Whether you’re snuggling up for a romantic getaway or taking a family vacation<\/a>, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the snow. Take a look at some of my favorite destinations for a snow trip.<\/p>\n

Snow Trip: Mammoth Mountain<\/h2>\n

California is full of great places to vacation in the snow. Mammoth Mountain<\/a> is located Mammoth Lakes, California. Cozy up in one of their deluxe cabins. Choose \u00a0from any of\u00a0their different lodging arrangements<\/a> such as: Juniper Springs, Mammoth Mountain Inn, Tamarack Lodge or The Village.\u00a0You can even arrange to stay in a luxury home. Sample\u00a0the gorgeous slopes on ski or snowboard. Beginners can rent equipment and learn<\/a> how to ski or snowboard in just a few hours! Those looking for an easygoing stay can enjoy one of their\u00a0concerts, parades or festivals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lake Tahoe<\/a> is located on the border between Nevada and California. Tahoe Vacation Rentals<\/a> are perfect for anyone looking for a home away from home. Complete with full amenities, vacationers get more privacy than a hotel, and a beautiful lakefront view! There are plenty of popular local restaurants to sample from as well. Visit Scusa <\/a>and\u00a0sample fresh Italian and Mediterranean made cuisine. You can also get a taste of the local ingredients from nearby farms and ranches featured at\u00a0Bite American Tapa<\/a>. At Tahoe relaxation is always on the menu. Enjoy live jazz music\u00a0or get a massage at\u00a0one of their body renewal spas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Snow Trip: Bear Mountain<\/h2>\n

For the more adventurous crowd, Bear Mountain<\/a> is calling you!\u00a0Located in Big Bear, Bear Mountain resorts offer plenty of snow-filled dwellings to call home for the weekend. No wonder they call it the people’s park.\u00a0Not to mention,\u00a0when it comes to delicious food, they’ve got it covered. Their laid back dining areas<\/a> will have you\u00a0so relaxed, you might mistake your\u00a0day in the snow\u00a0for a day at the beach. Get more bang for your buck at any of their many snow parks<\/a>. Bear Mountain is home to a\u00a0halfpipe, high jumps and Southern California’s only superpipe!<\/p>\n
