Happy 18th\u00a0birthday\u00a0Claire!!!! Woohoo! In celebration of Claire, we’d like to share 18 things she’s accomplished. Claire Wineland is a spectacular 18-year-old living with Cystic Fibrosis. We first met Claire when we provided our moving muscles to the Make-A-Wish Foundation<\/a> so they could grant her a wish for a room makeover. A few years ago she founded Claire’s Place Foundation, her own non-profit organization that helps children and families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.\u00a0The rest, as they say, is history. Here are 18 Amazing things Claire Wineland has accomplished:<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0\"CWShe started the non-profit\u00a0Claire’s Place Foundation<\/a> to help children and families affected by cystic fibrosis.<\/li>\n
  2. This year alone the foundation has been\u00a0awarded three grants<\/a>!<\/li>\n
  3. She’s been featured on the\u00a0Dr. Oz show<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. She’s been\u00a0featured on CNN<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  5. She’s a published author<\/a>!<\/li>\n
  6. She’s been featured in\u00a0Ladies\u2019 Home Journal<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  7. \u00a0She’s been featured in\u00a0People<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  8. She made a guest appearance on the hit TV show\u00a0Red Band Society<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  9. She organized a Glow Ride Fundraiser<\/a> for her foundation.<\/li>\n
  10. She organized a Flash Mob<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  11. She’s been a Make-a-Wish recipient<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  12. She’s given two TED Talks,\u00a0It’s Just a Disease<\/a> and\u00a0Life of Impact<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  13. She organized\u00a0a poker event to raise money for the foundation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  14. Her foundation has made a difference to several\u00a0families living with CF<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  15. \"stonehenge\"She’s\u00a0spoken at Pepperdine University<\/a> about CF.<\/li>\n
  16. She’s\u00a0visited Stonehenge<\/a> on the vernal equinox during an eclipse.<\/li>\n
  17. She came out of a month long coma at age 13, and her experience\u00a0helped actress, Patricia Hastie in her research<\/a> for her role in the Academy Award winning movie,\u00a0The Descendants<\/a><\/em>.<\/li>\n
  18. She makes\u00a0countless videos<\/a> encouraging all teens and families with CF!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
