With winter just around the corner, you may be thinking that it is too late to get any gardening done. Well, you\u2019d be wrong! Come with me and you\u2019ll be in a world of indoor gardening.<\/p>\n

Indoor Gardening: Herbs<\/h2>\n

This may be the best idea ever<\/a>. Not only do you get to make a new friend with a plant, you can use the plants you grow to make your dishes better than you ever imagined. Make sure your herbs get plenty of sun, or artificial light if the windows are too cold. The best place to put your plant is next to a south-facing window, due to the sun\u2019s trajectory. Make sure that your new little buddy has good drainage, for the sake of both the plant and your countertop.<\/p>\n

Indoor Gardening: Flowers<\/h2>\n

There are lots of cute little flowers<\/a> that you can grow to perfect that indoor gardening look. These flowers are not only beautiful, they will also never wilt on you if you take proper care of them. A few suggestions for small potted flowers are Hibiscus<\/a> and African violets<\/a>. My personal favorite is Jasmine<\/a>, which will fill your home with a fresh floral fragrance, free of artificial scents or deodorants. These flowers thrive on room temperature, so make sure to keep your home above 65 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter.<\/p>\n\n

Indoor Gardening: Sprouts<\/h2>\n

Growing sprouts isn\u2019t just for Chia pets<\/a>. Grow your own food<\/a> through indoor gardening in the easiest way possible. You can use organic alfalfa seeds, or whatever kind of seeds that you prefer. Soak the seeds overnight, drain the water and repeat over the course of about a week. Before you know it, baby, you got a sprout growing! Sprouts are great for salads, veggie burgers, or just about anything else you can think of. They are a vegan and vegetarian\u2019s best friend!<\/p>\n
