We are officially getting into the winter months, which means that tea time is more important now than ever before. There is nothing that I love more than going out with friends and eating dainty little sandwiches and sipping on a good cup of tea. These are my favorite spots in Los Angeles to pick up a good cuppa!<\/p>\n

Tea Time at Rose Tree Cottage<\/h2>\n

There is nothing quite like having tea time the way that it was meant to be enjoyed. This little cottage<\/a> in Pasadena is a friend to tea lovers and anglophiles alike. Along with traditional, loose-leaf tea, you also get to sample a variety of finger sandwiches. Oh, and did I mention fresh scones and cream? If that hasn\u2019t sold you yet, they also have an assortment of puddings and desserts that you are free to choose from. Tea is served at precise times throughout the week, so don\u2019t miss out!<\/p>\n

There is so much more than just American tea<\/a> at these location! Sample teas<\/a> from all around the world and discover flavors that you never thought were possible. They also have little chocolates and snacks to accompany you during your tea time. Can\u2019t take the caffeine? They have a full assortment of caffeine-free teas available. Would you rather brew at home than go out? In addition to the incredible teas and desserts they serve here, they also have equipment that will let you drink your favorite flavors at home.<\/p>\n\n

This particular spot is far more than just tea. The Getty\u2019s \u201cTea by the Sea\u201d<\/a> experience allows you to live the life of ancient Romans through good tea and good food. Everything is Mediterranean inspired, and many of the ingredients come from the Villa\u2019s very own garden! After your tea time, you are invited to tour the gardens. A docent will guide you through the Roman garden and explain all of the different culinary uses of each plant, and their meaning in Roman myth and art. This is simply an experience that you cannot pass up!<\/p>\n
