You know, there is just something about St. Patrick\u2019s Day that I just love. Maybe it’s\u00a0the great Irish food, or maybe it\u2019s the cute clover patterns. However,\u00a0it\u2019s probably all the green, green, GREEN. Regardless of why you love this holiday, let\u2019s all get together and celebrate St. Patrick\u2019s Day in style!<\/p>\n

St. Patrick\u2019s Day DIY<\/h2>\n

Have a lucky party for your lucky day? Try looking around you to see what you can do to make your home more festive! If you have a Keurig in your home or workplace, you\u2019re probably inundated with those little K-Cups on a daily basis. Instead of throwing them out, try to upcycle them by turning them into little leprechaun hats! This tutorial<\/a> is for pilgrim hats, but painting them green instead of black will make it look perfect for St. Patrick\u2019s Day. If you are looking to hand out party favors, you can paint those little Tupperware tubs<\/a> you have green. Put a little sash and a clover on it and you have the perfect place to stash your pot of coins!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a particularly big fan of vegetarian shepherd\u2019s pie with lentils and mushrooms<\/a>. This is a hearty dish that is sure to fill up both you and your guests at your party. If you\u2019re looking for some other ideas, try this delicious colcannon<\/a>! Colcannon is a traditional Irish potato soup that they serve on chilly days. Whip some up for yourself this St. Patrick\u2019s Day!<\/p>\n\n\n

Although not a strictly traditional St. Patrick\u2019s Day pastime, I can\u2019t recommend growing your own seasonings enough. You can also get moving to your local park and try planting some trees. There are just so many ways that you can be green on the greenest day of the year!<\/p>\n
