There&#8217;s tons of great food and activities to participate in this year. However, not everyone gets to enjoy all the summer fun.\u00a0Did you know that while school\u2019s out for summer many kids go hungry?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-24986 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.northstarmoving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/studiocity-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"studiocity\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>Last year, NorthStar Moving\u00a0and Coldwell Banker offices collected over\u00a0<strong>5,000 meals<\/strong> for hungry kids and their families! This year we plan to shoot above our previous goal, and raise even more.\u00a0Please consider donation\u00a0your non-perishable items\u00a0to your local participating Coldwell Banker office. We will be collecting food from <strong>May 2\u00a0to June 17<\/strong>.\u00a0More than <strong>2.1 million <\/strong>people are in need of food assistance in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarmoving.com\/blog\/2011\/los-angeles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarmoving.com\/blog\/2012\/moving-to-orange-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orange County<\/a> alone. NorthStar Moving\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coldwellbanker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coldwell Banker\u00a0Residential Brokerage <\/a>both got moving to send hunger packing!\u00a0That\u2019s why we started the Let\u2019s Send Hunger Packing Summer Food Drive!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-24987 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.northstarmoving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2355-Copy-Copy-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2355 - Copy - Copy\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>Are our NorthStar Moving trucks big enough to hold all your donations? We\u2019ll be driving our\u00a0big red NorthStar Moving trucks, to pick up and deliver donations to the <a href=\"http:\/\/feedoc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Second Harvest Food Bank <\/a>of Orange County and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafoodbank.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles Regional Food Bank<\/a>. Coldwell Banker offices in Los Angeles County and Orange County are \u201ccompeting\u201d to collect the most food donations for their local food bank.
