I love Thanksgiving<\/a>. It means that Hanukkah<\/a>, Christmas<\/a> and New Year<\/a> is almost here. These holidays <\/a>mean so much to me because I get to spend more family time<\/a>. It\u2019s also a great time to reflect<\/a> on what I\u2019m thankful for. So many achievements<\/a> have happened over the year and even though we should always be grateful, there\u2019s something about Thanksgiving<\/a> that makes it more special. Maybe it\u2019s because it reminds us since the word \u201cthanks\u201d is in the name of the holiday. This Thanksgiving<\/a> season, what will you be thankful<\/a> for?<\/p>\n

Whenever we\u2019re having a bad day, the first people we usually talk to are to our friends and family<\/a>. Regardless of the time and situation, they\u2019ll always lend us their ear when we\u2019re in need<\/a> or have exciting news to tell. Without them, life would feel incomplete because a piece of our lives would be missing. If you don\u2019t thank<\/a> your friends<\/a> and family<\/a> often, this holiday season<\/a> is the time to do it. \u00a0Bake them a special pumpkin pie<\/a> just for them as a token of gratitude for all they\u2019ve done for you.<\/p>\n

Just like our friends and family tend to be there when we most need them, our pet<\/a> will always have our back. We\u2019re their best friend and vice versa. They don\u2019t talk back to us, they just listen to us patiently. They\u2019re playful, make the best partners<\/a> and most importantly love<\/a> us unconditionally. We never give them the proper thanks<\/a> for being our best friend<\/a>. In return, buy them a special treat or even better make them something special with your own two hands. You can create your furry friend<\/a> a DIY toy <\/a>from stuff that you won\u2019t be needing anymore. Just make sure that the materials<\/a> are safe<\/a> to use and won\u2019t cause any harm.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot to be thankful<\/a> in life and sometimes we\u2019re so busy with our ongoing lives that we forget to really say thanks to those that help us every day<\/a>. I\u2019m talking about the ones who do so much in our community<\/a> such as the gardener<\/a> who mows our lawn, the city worker<\/a> who paves the roads or even the campaigner who\u2019s trying to make an environmental<\/a> change in the neighborhood<\/a>. People like them deserve a recognition too because they\u2019re going out of there way not only to make your life a bit easier but for those of others. \u00a0Follow their example<\/a> and do good deeds<\/a> in your community. It\u2019s the best way to thank yourself, your neighborhood and the universe.<\/p>\n\n
