Some of the biggest on-screen comedians started their careers right here in the heart of America\u2019s \u2018Comedy Central\u2019. ComedySportz and Annoyance Theatre have both proven to be two of Chicago\u2019s best kept secrets. Recently opened, Chicago\u2019s new Riverwalk offers a wide variety of entertainment. Throughout the year, venues along this 1.5 mile long strip host special events and display art exhibits. Ride your bike down this visually stunning Riverwalk and whether you\u2019re looking for a good meal, performances from local artist or a kayak ride along the Chicago River, the Riverwalk has recreational opportunities to suit your mood!<\/p>\n

3.Winter Garden<\/a> in the Harold Washington Public Library<\/h2>\n

If there ever was a hidden gem in Chicago, the Winter Garden located on the ninth floor of the Harold Washington Public Library would be it. City life is great but every now and again, we can all use a quiet get away from all the hustle and bustle. With glass ceilings and trees and plants planted throughout the floor and along the walls, the Winter Garden provides the perfect amount of serenity along with the shot of green you need to revitalize your day!<\/p>\n

4.Week-Long Museum Tour<\/a><\/h2>\n

Ever wanted to visit some of the top museums in Chicago for free? If you are a Chicago Public Library cardholder and also live in the city of Chicago, you can check out a \u2018Kid\u2019s Museum Passport\u2019. Check the passport out for a week and your family will have free access to 15 different museums. You can find more info on the selected museums and the passport here.<\/a><\/p>\n
