We may look like movers, but we\u2019re social butterflies.<\/h2>\n

When you move around as much as we do, you learn we\u2019re all different and that goes for our choices of social media platforms too. Some of us prefer blogs, while others prefer Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or YouTube. <\/span><\/p>\n

You also learn, even more importantly, that we are all the same. We all want to know what matters to the companies where we spend our hard earned dollars. Get to know us, we\u2019re pretty sure you\u2019ll find out we\u2019re a lot a like. You can find us everywhere you are. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have always been dedicated to maintaining a safe, friendly environment for both our clients and team members. Despite existing in a predominantly male-oriented industry, we’ve won a multitude of Women in Business Awards. We were recently recognized by the Los Angeles Business <\/span>Journal as one of the most \u201cInfluential Family-Owned Business in Los Angeles\u201d <\/span>as well as one of \u201cBest Places To Work\u201d for the ninth consecutive year. NorthStar Moving has also <\/span>joined the collaborative Open to All<\/a> coalition as an inclusive business that has pledged to reject discrimination, promote acceptance, and interact respectfully with all people, on equal terms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting our Community.<\/h2>\n

We volunteer our services for charitable organizations such as Make-A-Wish Greater LA<\/a>, Shane\u2019s Inspiration<\/a> and the Women in Green Forum<\/a>. By donating moving services and assisting with set-up services at their events we support these organizations. <\/span>We’ve also partnered with many other community-focused charities and organizations including Move For Hunger<\/a>, Habitat for Humanity ReStore<\/a> and Miry\u2019s List<\/a> to make it easier for all of us to give back to our local communities and protect our planet.<\/span><\/p>\n

And as an award-winning green moving company (our green practices were even written about in college textbooks) \u2013 we use eco-bubble, moving boxes made of 100% recyclable materials, offer box recycling incentives, and converted our moving trucks to run on Biodiesel.<\/span><\/p>\n
