\"\" If you haven\u2019t heard the exciting news, my friends at NorthStar Moving\u00ae<\/a> have made great partnerships with some fantastic local buildings as their preferred Los Angeles moving company. To celebrate these new beginnings and to start off the new year, my friends at NorthStar Moving\u00ae began a search for a new image to represent the happiest Los Angeles moving company on their flyers. Being the innovative and creative bunch that they are, the movers and shakers at NorthStar Moving\u00ae wanted more than just an image, picture or drawing. They needed something that would reflect the happiness they feel every time they help move a family into a new home. I joined the search for the right image.<\/p>\n

For weeks they searched everywhere. One magical morning, we found it! After typing \u201chome moving sketch\u201d into Yahoo, one of the first images that caught our eye was an adorable sketch that conveyed everything we love about moving day. This line drawing had so much character and warmth, we knew there had to be story behind it.<\/p>\n

“We’re Moving”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With the wonders of Yahoo we found out that the artist behind the sketch was a talented and unique artist and children\u2019s book illustrator from Australia named Rosalie Street<\/a>. A few clicks later we found Rosalie\u2019s website<\/a> and were transported into her magical world.<\/p>\n

\"\"We discovered this enchanting sketch was in fact a \u2018family portrait\u2019 drawn for Rosalie\u2019s family\u2019s \u2018moving house card\u2019 or moving announcement card. Rosalie was inspired by her husband\u2019s grand plans of relocating their cubby house to make room for a new one. The happy family had recently moved homes and was settling into their new house. The happiness they felt after their moving day was definitely reflected in their adorable portrait.<\/p>\n

Confident that this was the right image for us, we contacted Rosalie by email and even called her from our offices in Los Angeles all the way to Mount Martha (Melbourne area), Australia. With the same sweetness and warmth of her drawn characters, Rosalie shared with us her story and was excited to take on our proposed project inspired by her drawing. Within a week we had our sketch adjusted to include our strong NorthStar Moving\u00ae mover leading the happy family to their new home.<\/p>\n

Everyone in the office that has had a peek of the new flyer, stops and smiles! It\u2019s exactly what we were looking for. Now when our friends check out this great flyer they see not just an A+ rated Los Angeles moving company, but a family that works together on moving day. We are so excited to have this amazing artwork represent our NorthStar Moving\u00ae<\/a> family and the joy we feel moving happiness into our clients\u2019 homes.
