Like roller-coasters and giant hug-worthy cartoon characters? Then Orange County is the place for you! With Disneyland<\/a>, Disney’s California Adventure<\/a>, and Knott’s Berry Farm<\/a> located in Orange County, you’re bound to have a good time. The best part is that SoCal residents usually get discounts at the parks, so make sure to change your official address on your ID once you finish moving!<\/p>\n

The Orange County Fair and Fairgrounds<\/h3>\n

For a whole month every summer, Orange County is the place to be for one of the best county fairs in the country! The OC Fair<\/a> is full of fun rides, vendors, food, performers, animals, and more! The fairgrounds are also a great place to go for weekly food truck gatherings, or you can catch your favorite band at the Pacific Amphitheatre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Orange County Shopping<\/h3>\n

Shop till you drop in Orange County! With shopping meccas such as Fashion Island<\/a> in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza<\/a> in Costa Mesa, and the Irvine Spectrum<\/a>, you’ll be in shopping heaven. These are also great places just to spend a nice night out for dinner and a movie or hanging out with friends.<\/p>\n

Orange County Beaches and Balboa Island<\/h3>\n

Love the beach? You’ll love Orange County! With world-famous beaches like Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, you can go surfing, fishing, boogie boarding, or my favorite: beach reading. (It’s such a workout!) For the ocean animals lovers, there are dog-friendly OC beaches, and you can even go whale watching at places like Newport Beach or Balboa Island! Balboa Island, made famous by the TV show Arrested Development, is a great place to spend a day eating frozen bananas and enjoying the sunshine.<\/p>\n\n
