Moved to Terror: LA Halloween Events!

It’s time for getting scared, celebrating black cats, and eating lots of candy. It’s time to get moving to some LA Halloween events! What are you dressing up as this year? Better yet, what’s on your list of LA Halloween events to attend? Here are some of my favorite LA Halloween events:

Theme Parks for Adults and Teens

Just about every LA theme park has a Halloween celebration. If you looking to get extremely scared, the LA Halloween events to attend are the Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights and Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest. Zombies and gore galore!

Theme Parks for Kids

If you want to attend LA Halloween events without getting scared, check out Knott’s Camp Spooky, Disney’s HalloweenTime, and Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland. LA Halloween events don’t have to be horrorifying, just fun!

Haunted Houses

How could I talk about LA Halloween events without talking about haunted houses? There are tons all over LA, but here are two of my favorite LA Halloween events. The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor will fill you with terror as you enjoy food, drink, and entertainment on board and off. In Pasadena, check inside the historical Union Savings Bank building for a real good Old Time Haunt. For a haunted house near you, here’s a good list of LA Halloween events.

Halloween with Pets

On Sunday October 30, you won’t want to miss one of my favorite LA Halloween events: the Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade! This is the world’s largest Halloween pet event! Vendors, pet adoption, lots of cute dogs walking in a costume parade, and a kid’s costume contest make Long Beach the place to be. And it’s one of the LA Halloween events all for a good cause: to raise money for spay/neuter programs, Operation Santa Paws, and Haute Dogs. Three cheers for dog LA Halloween events!

Dia de Los Muertos at Olvera Street

For those of you who celebrate Dia de Los Muertos, don’t miss the celebration at Olvera Street. There will be piñatas, facepainting, mariachi music, Aztec dancers, and much more!

If none of these LA Halloween events suit your fancy, don’t worry. There are tons of other LA Halloween events going on all month! Do you know of any other LA Halloween events? We would love to hear about them in the comments section!
