As per our telephone conversation of February 2, 2002, I am e-mailing this for your employees file, concerning our move on February 1, 2002 from San Jose to Sonora.
First off, your salesman, Ted Tindal was not only very professional; but at the same time very comforting to me at a time that was so very stressful. At our age, my husband and myself was not looking forward to moving.
Ted helped me with all my questions and concerns without pushing me to choose your firm. I do not like to be pushed into a decision and Ted gave me the right questions to ask when I called other moving companies. So, Ted was the real reason I initially chose North Star, the other companies were too pushy and did not fully explain their prices.
Now we get to your employee, Roy Ashual. We could not believe how efficient, organized and what a hard worker he was on our moving day! As soon as he showed up, he made us feel so at ease with this move. I was actually getting tired watching him work so hard. After we were moved in that evening, I cooked supper for the 2 young men, nothing fancy, but I wanted to show my appreciation.
Ram, you truly have jewels working for you, please forward copies of this e-mail to their personnel files and please praise them for me and my husband.
If we know anyone who requires a moving company, we will make sure they know to call your firm.

My first experience working with Gadi was when he moved my 15 employees and 20 years of accumulated office “stuff” to our new location in Studio City California. Since we are in the publishing business time and efficiency was extremely important to me. When I first contacted Mr. Avigzer I wasn’t sure about my plans and the move was rather complicated. I was sending some furniture to relatives in the Midwest, and planning to store the rest of my belongings for an unspecified period of time.
Only a few days before the second half of the move, I changed my plans and told Gadi that I was taking an apartment in the area and needed to move in at the end of June, requiring storage of my belongings for just a two week period. Gadi Avigzer and the rest of the highly professional and capable staff at Northstar saw to it that everything went smoothly and were able, on short notice, to meet my needs. The move out of my prior residence went well, and they accommodated my request to be in my new apartment before the end of the month, making a special effort to do so. Moving is a challenge, but Gadi Avigzer and the staff at Northstar helped me meet the challenge successfully. I plan to use Northstar in the future and would recommend Mr. Avigzer to you.

I wanted to thank your group for a fabulous job. We hired you on May 4th to move us out of two storage units and where we were staying to our new home in Patterson. I had gone through surgery on the 2nd and was in no condition to move around a lot. The team that you sent us was great. I slept in while my husband met them at the first pick-up point. Then they came to the 2nd and that is where I met them. They fit almost everything into the truck (minus three chairs and some plants). Just no space left. When we arrived at the new house they found something for me to sit on and I sat in one place in the garage telling them which room the items went. They were great. They had wonderful personalities, I have never had so much fun moving (even if I was in some pain). Thank you again for the great team and customer service. About a month ago, on April 11th, we hired your company to move our belongings from our house in Van Nuys to the Highway Storage place in Santa Clarita. I moved out of my house in Los Angeles on Dec. 17th and moved into my new house in Palm Desert on February 1st. On both ends of the move, the guys were extremely helpful, professional, and efficient. They were wonderful to work with. And there were no problems at all with the storage.
It is also a tribute to the movers and your company that not one single item in the approx. 8,000 lbs. I had was broken or marred!

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to you and your team at North Star! I recently was moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco at the recommendation of Jeanmarie Smith. She had told me that I would receive excellent service, but that is an understatement.
My experience began with you and our discussion on the phone. You were extremely courteous, and explained the steps you would take to evaluate and quote a price for my move. A date was set and Mr. Gadi Avigzer was assigned to the meeting. Mr. Avigzer was not only thorough, I found him to be kind, courteous and sensitive to my concerns. Moving is never an easy process but Gadi assured me that I would have a smile on my face the day I was moved out of my home in L.A. and also on the day I was moved into my home in S.F. He was right!
I must tell you that I, of course, I received other quotes. Although yours was higher by almost $1000.00, you were also going to provide a service level that warranted the extra cost. I chose your company not only because of the superior customer service, but also because of the way that you would pack and handle the contents.
My situation was unique for me. I was moving a fully furnished two-bedroom home into a fully furnished two-bedroom home. My husband and i have had separate residences and so we not only were going to have your team move our contents into the house, but also assist us with moving some contents from the SF home into our basement.
Your packing team was also very efficient and kind. Their care with my contents and with me was exceptional. The loading and unloading appeared to be seamless despite the great number of stairs that they had to navigate.
I know that this is probably an every day story for you. I, on the other hand, was new to the moving game, and had very specific expectations and requirements. Gadi and your moving team made the experience very positive.
I am now settled in my new home and want to thank all of you at North Star for making my move successful and painless!
