Los Angeles County Fair

The LA County Fair starts this Labor Day weekend. Get out for Labor Day in LA by enjoying all the fun of the county fair. You can even catch a wave with the Beach Boys on Monday! Don’t forget to wish everyone a happy Labor Day in LA while you enjoy your cotton candy.

The LA/Long Beach Labor Coalition and AFTRA-SAG Labor Day Parade

Labor Day in LA is usually all about BBQs and parades, so get moving to Long Beach to celebrate with both! The parade starts at 10 A.M. on Monday morning and will go from Broad and E Street, Wilmington, CA to Banning Park, 1331 Eubank Ave, Wilmington, CA. A rally and picnic full of music, hot dogs, and speakers starts at noon. Get moving and enjoy Labor Day in LA (and it’s free, too!)

Los Angeles Times’s The Taste

For all you foodies, check out The Taste to celebrate Labor Day in LA from Friday-Monday. Get your taste buds ready for a festival of food, wine, beer, and spirits in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Downtown. There are even events all weekend with your favorite celebrity chefs such as Duff Goldman, Giada De Laurentiis, and Art Smith. Labor Day in LA will be delicious!

FYF Fest

For all the rockers out there, check out the FYF Fest in Downtown LA on Saturday, September 3rd. Forget about work as you listen to bands such as Descendents, Broken Social Scene, and Cold War Kids. Labor Day in LA never sounded this good!

Orange International Street Fair

Labor Day in LA might mean driving out to the city of Orange to shop at this spectacular celebration from Friday-Sunday. There are four city blocks full of international crafts, music, food, dance, and children’s activities. It’s the perfect place to take the kids during the day!

Cinecon Classic Film Festival

Labor Day in LA means enjoying lots of 35mm film! The Cinecon Classic Film Festival celebrates Labor Day in LA with the oldies and goodies. From September 1st-5th, you can see rare silent and early sound feature films, buy movie memorabilia, and mingle with celebrity guests!
