We may look like movers, but we’re social butterflies.
When you move around as much as we do, you learn we’re all different and that goes for our choices of social media platforms too. Some of us prefer blogs, while others prefer Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or YouTube.
You also learn, even more importantly, that we are all the same. We all want to know what matters to the companies where we spend our hard earned dollars. Get to know us, we’re pretty sure you’ll find out we’re a lot a like. You can find us everywhere you are.
From our “Moving Tip Tuesdays,” “Wisdom Wednesdays,” “Thursday Thoughts,” our “People Who Move Us” blog series, infographics, to our videos on packing and moving tips, NorthStar Moving strives to shine a spotlight on topics that “move you.” Help us get things moving and engage with us on:

SOCIAL MEDIA SOCIAL M
SOCIAL MEDIA
Whether you are a previous or upcoming client, in the real estate industry, a business owner, a marketing consultant, someone interested in eco-friendly tips and/or socio-economic matters, or simply enjoy social media – you are sure to find useful information in our posts. It is our hope that you join our followers and “get moved” in return. In fact, our commitment and support of both environmental and social consciousness issues have always been a high priority and vital in our business practices. It’s just part of our, not so corporate, corporate culture.
We have always been dedicated to maintaining a safe, friendly environment for both our clients and team members. We have won a multitude of Women in Business Awards despite existing in a predominantly male-oriented industry. We were recently recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the most “Influential Family-Owned Business in Los Angeles” as well as one of “Best Places To Work” for the ninth consecutive year. We joined the collaborative Open to All coalition as an inclusive business that has pledged to reject discrimination, promote acceptance, and interact respectfully with all people, on equal terms.
We volunteer our services for charitable organizations such as Make-A-Wish Greater LA, Shane’s Inspiration and the Women in Green Forum. We assist with moving and set-up services at their events. We also partner with many other community-focused charities and organizations including Move For Hunger, Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Miry’s List to make it easier for all of us to give back to our local communities and protect our planet.
And as an award-winning green moving company (our green practices were even written about in college textbooks) – we use eco-bubble, moving boxes made of 100% recyclable materials, offer box recycling incentives, and converted our moving trucks to run on Biodiesel.
So let’s all get social together. Join a diverse group of people and keep up with our involvement with charitable organizations, upcoming events, various volunteer opportunities, vegan and vegetarian recipes, green living tips, city spotlights, what you can do to help our environment, and more.
