During the 2019 California Moving and Storage Association Convention (CMSA) that was held in San Diego, NorthStar Moving was awarded a Certificate of Achievement by Move for Hunger. They wrote to us: “”Every year at state and national moving industry conferences we give out awards to those who go above and beyond with their dedication to the cause. We chose Northstar Moving not only because of the amount of food collected, but also for the willingness to help with larger pick-ups like the LA Marathon and Rock n Roll San Francisco Half Marathon. We realize that you are donating your time, staff and equipment for these pick-ups and are very appreciative for your help to ensure these large amounts of food go to those in need in the local community.”

The Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group Created the “Best Places to Work” in greater Los Angeles award twelve years ago. The survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce and businesses.
If Los Angeles County were a nation, its economy would be the 19th largest in the world. It is home to more than 244,000 businesses, with more minority and women-owned businesses than any other in the nation. Out of this remarkable number of Los Angeles businesses, 100 companies end up in the Best Places to Work list. NorthStar Moving was named one of the “Best Places to Work” in greater Los Angeles for the ninth consecutive year. It ranked an impressive #23 in the best medium sized company category.
