The Los Angeles Business Journal held its annual Women’s Leadership Awards on Wednesday, June 28th, honoring and celebrating women business leaders in the Los Angeles community. NorthStar Moving’s Director of Marketing and Co-Founder, Laura McHolm was among the nominees this year.
L.A. Times B2B Publishing held their first Inspirational Women: Forum and Awards in a virtual ceremony, held on October 26, 2021. NorthStar Moving’s Director of Marketing and Co-Founder, Laura McHolm, was among the nominees.
For their inaugural year, they received over 350 nominations in varying fields, from manufacturing to technology. The review and selection process considered several factors, including leadership within the nominee’s organization as well as contributions to the business world and the community at large.
Following the ceremony and forum panels, they released a publication in which they profiled all of the honorees and nominees and shared their inspirational stories, along with how they are redefining the roles that women play in their respective industries.
This is annual event honoring the work of the nonprofit community along with the corporate citizens and businesses that support them. The awards were given out this year in a virtual event.
