NorthStar Moving’s Let’s Send Hunger Packing Food Drive assists hungry children while school is out this summer; Bring your food donations to LA & Orange County Coldwell Banker offices

LOS ANGELES, April 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NorthStar Moving® Company, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, has teamed up once again with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for their fourth annual “Let’s Send Hunger Packing!” food drive to feed hungry children in Los Angeles and Orange County.

The 2016 food drive kicks off May 2 and runs through June 17. Donations will be accepted at 28 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices. The Los Angeles County Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices’ donations will benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the Orange County offices’ donations will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. The Coldwell Banker® offices will be competing against one another to raise the most food donations. NorthStar Moving will honor the winning offices, one in each county, with a monetary donation to their local food bank in their name.

Third Annual Food Drive Competition Assists Feeding the Rising Number of Hungry Children in LA and Orange Counties

NorthStar Moving® Company, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, announced today that their third annual “Let’s Send Hunger Packing” summer food drive competition in partnership with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage raised 6,771 pounds of food to feed hungry children in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

One out of four children in LA County and one out of five children in Orange County struggle with hunger. The food drive competition, hosted by NorthStar Moving, had Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices in LA County and Orange County compete for six weeks to collect the most food donations to help feed those children in need.

The second annual “Food Donation Heroes” that collected the most food in their county are: San Marino for Los Angeles County and winning for a second consecutive year, Mission Viejo for Orange County.
