The 2025 Annual Inside the Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards, published by the Los Angeles Business Journal, took place on August 21, 2025. Our Co-Founder and Director of Marketing, Laura McHolm, was honored as a finalist in the Community Impact Advocate of the Year category.

Inside the Valley (formerly The San Fernando Valley Business Journal), published their 2024 annual list of the Largest Family Owned Businesses, ranked by total number of employees. NorthStar Moving was listed at #15.

Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards

The Los Angeles Business Journal: Inside the Valley held the Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards on September 5th, 2024, and published the results in their September 14th edition. It was an event full of inspiration, education and recognition. NorthStar Moving’s Director of Marketing and Co-Founder, Laura McHolm was a finalist in the Community Impact Advocate award category.
