Best Places to Work

One of the most common comments we get when we post photos from our work day on our facebook page is “you guys are having way too much fun!”, so we’re glad the San Fernando Valley Business Journal agrees, and after awarding us the Best Places to Work before, we received it again this year. NorthStar Moving Company was ranked second.

Valley Biz Seen

Japanese representatives came to California to study the moving industry in the U.S. and visited NorthStar Moving in Chatsworth to learn about the industry and obtain tips from NorthStar Moving on how to weather the down economy.

In 2009 NorthStar Moving Company ranked fifth on the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s list of Fastest Growing Private Companies. The list is ranked by revenue.

Seventh Annual Women in Business Award Report

Laura McHolm, co-founder and director of marketing, for NorthStar Moving Company, won the “Trailblazer Award” at the 7th Annual Women in Business Awards for having altered the perception of moving companies in a way many never thought possible, delivering graceful customer care that has made its mark across the state. This award given by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal recognizes those who are leading the charge in business in innovative new ways.
