Had a great experience moving a couch + ottoman with NorthStar! Katherine was very responsive and the quote was very reasonable for the item. It was very easy to schedule with them for a next day move. Our moving team, Edgar and Ruben, were great as well! Very friendly and communicative, and we were very impressed with how careful they were with wrapping the couch and navigating it through the hallways.
Fulfilled a same/next day weekend service request and the guys were HUSTLERS ensuring we got the most out of our hourly rate, which was so appreciated. They were prepared, professional, flexible and, again, so fast! I can’t stress enough how impressed we were with both the response time, availability and rates when comparing to others who couldn’t offer the service when needed. Will def use again and recommend.

Just had a great experience with this moving company recently, it was the first time we actually felt like things went totally smoothly. Also, nothing was damaged. The crew was so hardworking and moved fast, we have a lot of stuff and very large pieces, not to mention so many stairs at both homes. We were very impressed and appreciate the guys who handled our move: Manny, Willy, Alfonso, and Luis were fantastic. We were astounded by the strength of these guys, one person easily handled pieces that in past moves, required 2 men to move. Great communication and trustworthy. Highly recommend and will be requesting this crew on our next move.

love Northstar!!! I’ve used them twice in the last 3 years and they are fantastic. Very professional movers that have the tools to and take care to make sure your property is protected and NOT damaged. In both cases, the young men worked hard and fast but safely. Their staff is great as well. They communicate well and make sure you stay on schedule. David Archuleta, a project manager is fantastic! Very professional and honest young man! Their rates are also very reasonable. Very…. reasonable. Hire them for your next move, you won’t be disappointed?
We moved from San Francisco to Oakland 3 weeks ago and use NorthStart. Our team (Carlos, Eujenio, and Roberto) were AMAZING. The process from the quote to the packing and the move were perfect. They were so fast and efficient, and they had to go up 3 flights of stairs with all of our stuff. Everything was in perfect condition after the move. Finally, when they moved our couch in Carlos showed us that we were missing the center leg (from a previous move), helping us to solve a mystery we had about the couch sagging.
