The Northstar team was great. They showed up on time and were ready to go. They did a great job with wrapping my valuable items and took excellent care not to bump into walls or cause any damage. I had a tight window with my apartment elevator and they were kind enough to not take a break to ensure we got out on time. The foreman was great at communication and did a nice job ensuring everything went smoothly. They were very Professinoal and I would certainly use them again.

After having horrible experiences with two local moving companies, I called NorthStar and was greeted and didn’t get a slimy sales pitch but a very thorough description of what we could expect on the big day.
We had a crew of three guys who showed up right on time!
They all took great care of my stuff. I have a lot of one of a kind antiques and they were very respectful.
Did I mention it was over 100 degrees! The crew didn’t slow down until they had lunch. Then it was right back to unloading.
They did an amazing job hanging my clothes in our closet!
I would not think twice about using them again.

This is my first time hiring movers and these guys were awesome. The representative that took my call to book the appointment was professional and knowledgeable. She was able get me booked right away. What was even better was they were able to push up my appointment to the morning slot! The moving crew was also great. Very professional and courteous. Very smooth move from the peninsula to the East Bay – thanks! Great repeat experience, I moved with Northstar a few years ago and this one went well just like the last. Meeting with the estimator went well – I recommend doing that ahead of time. Moving day was one of the most painless moves I’ve had.
NorthStar moving company is terrific. I have used them many times over the years. They have moved businesses and my home. Always polite and thorough, timely and efficient. The office staff is very polite. The movers that came to our home were kind enough to put together all of our furniture, and were patient in letting us try different placements of furniture. They were very careful not to scratch or damage any of our stuff or the walls and doorjambs. They were also very cautious and aware of our boxes marked fragile. They worked very hard to make sure we were satisfied, and were courteous, friendly, and personable. Their excellent customer service truly exceeded our expectations. They smelled great too! I have moved many houses over the years and have tried a lot of different companies, and NorthStar has undoubtedly been the best. Overall they did a great job. I had a weekday move and they told me they would be there from 8-10a. They called me at 8a and told me they would by there around 9:30a, which is when they arrived. They first assessed the move and brought the necessary equipment. They supplied runners, extra boxes if needed, tape, dollies and other moving equipment. We only moved to another building in the same complex and it was seamless.
Great experience with Northstar today, excellent crew and very quick move. They helped put a few things in wardrobe boxes to speed the process and were very professional.

North Star was great! They were very friendly! And then they were careful of the furniture when moving. We just bought a new house, so they were super careful around the corners and working around our other boxes. They kept a detailed inventory, which we appreciated. And team made sure everything was finished efficiently. They were on time and ready to go. Alma helped estimate the move and her customer service was great. She also followed up with me to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend NorthStar to others. Thank you!
