We are just wrapping up the first part of our move from Oakland to Vancouver, Washington. Kevin and his crew did an AWESOME job today. We had prepped and packed for almost a week, and were ready when the crew showed up. Kevin was professional, helpful, and friendly as were the entire crew of 5. We have a 4-level house in the Oakland hills, and it is difficult to get to. From the moment they arrived, the crew went to work and didn’t take a single break. They got our 3,100 square foot house loaded into their truck in four hours, all with a great attitude and attention to detail. They were the hardest working team we have ever seen. We were pleasantly surprised, as we have always moved our own stuff, and this is the first time we have used professional movers. We could not be more pleased.
Even though the price had a lot of add-ons from the original quote, we had a LOT more stuff than we thought and the weight came out well above the initial cost. This was anticipated and Jason at dispatch made it all clear ahead of time, so there was no confusion.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend NorthStar, and in particular, Kevin. He was super professional, friendly, and helpful to us throughout the process. THANKS MUCH!!

These guys are as professional as it gets. They arrived on time, had all the packing equipment we needed to protect the furniture and fragile items. They worked so fast, had our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment packed up in no time at all. The 3 of then were also courteous and had a very positive, can-do attitude. Moving can be very stressful, but this one was the easiest I’ve ever done thanks to Northstar. They handled furniture disassembly and reassembly too, which was amazing since I had lost the instructions to several of the items like the entertainment cabinet. I have to say that I would absolutely use this company again, and would recommend them to a friend or colleague without hesitation. I’d use them even if they cost twice what they do, very affordable and excellent experience. Ask for Jesse, Emanuel and Emannuel, you will NOT regret it!
Vatche and his crew from NorthStar made moving a surprisingly smooth and painless experience. They arrived early and moved quickly. They wrapped all my furniture COMPLETELY, leaving no areas exposed which could get dirty or scratched (i.e. mattress, sofa, tables). I didn’t need to tell them anything as they were very experienced and professional, knowing exactly what to do.
All I had to do was sit back and watch them work. I would use this company again 100%, especially this crew.

Amazing experience!!! This is my first time moving with North star moving and I was very much supprised by the team! I had a 3 man crew move out a 2 bedroom apartment In 3 hours. All my stuff were secured and protected with shrink wrap so we had no damages and no breaks. I was very happy with the team, they were funny and fast working, we really had a good experience with them and I would gladly use them on my next move. I hope this feedback helps:)
Jesse, Emmanuel, and Isaias are awesome!! They are so friendly, personable, and polite. They were on time too! They worked quickly and efficiently. They even took apart our bed frame without us asking. And they put it back together too! Their wrapping skills are awesome! They really took good care of all our stuff. It amazes my husband and I how great they are, yet also very affordable. We highly recommend these three guys, and North Star! We know next time we move we’re calling North Star, and specifically requesting Jesse, Emmanuel, and Isaias!! And Beatrice was also very friendly and easy to deal with when I made the appointment. Of all the movers I’ve dealt with, North Star is the best!

This company will be your best investment when moving. Junior, Kevin and Waldo were great. They were super efficient and experienced. Also very respectful and honest.

Had a great experience w NorthStar movers today. I had most of my stuff packed up but, they were thoughtful and wrapped up everything that wasn’t ready to go. I have a good amount of art that is important to me and they were extra cautious w it. Had everything going to my storage unit and they were able to fit everything w room to spare. Would definitely recommend and will use them again when I move in a few months.
Had the pleasure of meeting Randy, Edwin and Tosh today who, considering that they were fighting weekend traffic by way of Echo Park, still managed to get to NoHo at the agreed upon time. All this while knowing that my stuff needed to make its way to Woodland Hills and all this with a positive attitude – the guys were quick, efficient and I couldn’t have been happier with their service. Haven’t had the opportunity to use other services and don’t think that I’ll ever need to. Would gladly recommend Northstar to and friends.
Had a really great experience with NorthStar movers moving across town. Wilber, David and Anthony were very friendly, professional and fast (came in a few hours under the estimate). I will definitely use them next time.
