I had to move for the first time in 10 years and the first and only company I contacted was NorthStar.
I’m happy to report that nothing has changed in 10 years! Same great service from everyone at the company from their customer service team on the phone to the movers. Albert and his team were friendly and efficient and got the job done in about 4 hours.
I seriously recommend NorthStar to EVERYONE I know. Hopefully, I won’t have to move again soon, but if I do, I will absolutely call NorthStar

Santos, Ubaldo, and Albert helped me with my move and they were so efficient and helpful. They even were accommodating to make an additional stop at a storage facility to pick up additional things. They were careful with my furniture and reassembled things quickly even without a manual. They were professional and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone requiring assistance moving.
We were doing a local move. I needed someone the same day because the company we hired canceled at the last minute. Northstar were absolute lifesaver’s, extremely professional on time and the workers they sent were truly exceptional. They never sat down. They never complained. We were concerned what the cost of moving was going to be considering it was a last minute job, literally the same day! They didn’t try to take advantage of our situation and for the amount of hard work the price was extremely fair and well worth it ! North Star Exceeded our expectations. These guys are INCREDIBLE. They moved me out and into my new apt in 4 hrs flat. One bedroom with a ton of stuff. They helped me pack, move, and unpack. They even took my bed apart and built it in my new place. Their administrative staff were all wonderful and had answers to all my questions. Amazing follow up, and amazing follow through. I couldn’t recommend these guys more.

Eliezar was a really great mover at our finishing place and had amazing mover in our starting location. The people are very careful in their entire process. Everything came in great condition. We had one minor box that may have been misplaced, but the customer service after the fact was very careful and helped us through entire process. We always got immediate responses and care from North Star!
I moved from California to Germany several months ago and wanted to reassure those of you with big moves still ahead that you can worry a little less if you choose NorthStar. I trusted this company to move everything I own across a continent and an ocean, and I’m somehow still amazed that it all arrived, safe and sound, nothing lost, nothing broken, and with no unpleasant surprises. Avner Yonai and his colleague Eileen Clark were responsible for this international move, and Avner answered every question I had, following up personally when necessary. These are friendly, approachable, professional folks who seem to love what they do and couldn’t possibly take it more seriously. Now that I am settled in, I wanted to thank them again and send a shout-out to anyone worried about whether their move will go well 🙂
Some tips:
Take the video chat estimate very seriously. Let them know exactly what you’ll be shipping.
Stay involved in the entire process. It’s pretty interesting anyway, and you’ll know what’s going on at all times.
Be careful unpacking! Everything is so carefully wrapped that it seems the most damage can be done trying to get things out.
Tip the movers. They work very hard for hours, and they don’t seem interested in snacks and beverages. I wish I’d asked ahead of time what their favorite snacks were.
