A+ service from Raymond and his crew! They packed up and unloaded my entire 1-bedroom apartment in 4 hours flat, at least a couple of hours quicker than I expected anyone to do it. They were super careful with my stuff and listened to my request to treat my bikes (aka my babies) with extra care and kept an eye on them throughout the move. Rates are really reasonable compared to other movers I looked at and they charge very fairly for the packaging materials and boxes. Would recommend to my friends and use again!

I’ve used this company twice.  Both times the movers that came were professional, fast, and careful.  They quote you price based on your description of your stuff, and they came close to their quote both times.  I’ve only had one cheap ikea-type bookshelf damaged (cheap particle-board), so I chalked up the loss as a cost of doing business.  

Here’s what happens:  Once they arrive, they waste no time.  They ask what’s staying and what’s going.  You sign the contract, and they undo all the procrastinating that you’ve been doing.  They’ll even pack/unpack your clothes/dishes/etc. for you if you want (don’t forget this will cost you because part of the cost is based on time).  They put everything into boxes or wrap it in blankets/pallet wrap.  I tipped them in advance the second time to get some extra confidence stuff would be treated nicely.

The guys are professionals.  Literally.  They are not day laborers or part time construction workers who are in need of a part time job.

Moving is never an easy task but NorthStar really made the transition easy. From the front end staff, Alama who told me they have a yelp deal, to the guys who actually did all the heavy lifting, Javier Madrid, Maximiliano and Gustavo. Shout out to those guys, they were machines! They really alleviated a lot of stress that comes with moving. Would definitely recommend that crew and NorthStar to anyone who is moving. Thanks again!

David L. & his team that consisted of fellow movers Ezekiel and Dennis moved my girlfriend and I out of Ventura. They were polite, professional and punctual. David and his team did an amazing job with our move. They were professional and courteous and complied with our requests. We are moving again in 8 months and will definitely be giving them a call.

First, Gadi Avigzer,  came to give us an estimate. He was professional and knowledgeable and set up our move as we needed it. When I had questions he was always easy to get in touch with.

Then Juan and his crew came to pack us. They were quick and professional asking me needed questions when they were ready to pack something they felt I needed to know about.

The next day Jay and his crew came to move us. They took excellent care of our possessions working quickly to pack and then bring everything into our new home. They were easy to communicate with and patient with our changing our minds where an item should go.

I feel the whole experience was excellent. Everyone tried to make our move as easy as possible. We will definitely use them again for our next move.

This was my first time using professional movers, and Chris and his team made me glad I did! They moved me from West LA to Westwood in under 3 hours, and carried everything down to the last small item out of my old apartment and into the new for me. They took extra care with old and freshly painted furniture, and stuck around to make sure we didn’t need any help organizing or re-assembling after everything was brought in. They even hauled away an old hutch left behind by a previous tenant for me, and didn’t mind at all when we insisted on scoping out the inside of the truck to confirm with our own eyes that nothing was left behind.

All three guys who worked on my move were polite, friendly, and hard-working. They were also very accommodating during a slight hiccup where I didn’t have the right keys to my new place, and made up for lost time when we were finally able to get inside, too. I thought the price was very reasonable for the service (saved $75 with the Yelp deal) and supplies (tape and shrink wrap) were competitive, too. 

I’ll definitely use North Star for my next move!
