Had a great experience with North Star yesterday! Rene, Oscar, and Michael were all super nice, professional, and careful. We hadn’t realized one of our phone lines was low and they spotted it and took extra care not to damage it with the truck, which was a huge relief! Our yelp discount was honored without question, and the whole experience ended up way cheaper than any other time we used a moving company. Lynn was also really nice and explained everything thoroughly on the phone. Would definitely use them again!
Jason and his crew did a fantastic job. Everything was carefully packed and meticulously moved. I could not be more satisfied with the time it took or the job the guys did.
It’s our second time moving in the city and we wanted to do it right this time. After reading some horror (moving) stories I decided to go with a company everyone else had used and liked.
They were very efficient and replied to my Angie’s List enquiry within 24 hours. They were also able to accommodate us at short notice (7 days).
I am blessed to have met Raymond and his team- Bryan and Alex. The three of them worked tirelessly packing what was left in the apartment. They were efficient from start to end, and getting the boxes up to the second floor was no laughing matter. But they did it all without any problems. And always with a smile.
If I had to engage moving services, I would definitely contact them again. And request for Raymond and his team.

Because of my great experience with Northstar several months ago, I decided to use them again for my second move. This time 45 minutes away.
Miguel, Bryan R., Javier M. were the crew that helped me this time.
I received a courtesy call an hour prior and the team arrived 5 minutes early. They were very professional and worked well as a team. There was obvious synergy between the guys. They were extremely careful with my items. I couldn’t believe how well everything fit into the truck. It was like playing Tetris with boxes and furniture! They are definitely the experts in moving!!
When we arrived at the destination they were careful with my new floors and wore booties and layed out a roll of carpet to walk on. They carefully unloaded everything into my garage and the rooms. They cleaned up quickly and left my driveway/garage cleaner than when they arrived!
I have already recommended Northstar Moving to my friends/colleagues and will continue to do so. I will definitely be using Northstar the next time I move. Hopefully I’ll get the same amazing team: Miguel, Bryan R and Javier!

Phenomenal job with the move! My first move in the bay resulted in damage to a number of my personal items and a ton of run-around to get resolutions!

Stephy arranged my move and was very accommodating to the fact I had a very narrow window to move in with upcoming travel… On move day, Nemer was in constant communication throughout the day with an arrival ETA. Once he, Rodolfe, and Bidal arrived they were swift and got my pack and unpack done with no hiccups- very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend!

My furniture was just picked up by Miguel, Bidal, and Manuel. They were very friendly, professional, and efficient which made it easy for me and my 3 cats in my apartment. I would definitely use this service again!
We used Northstar on the recommendation of a friend. After comparing prices, they have the best deal with the least nickel an diming. Guys showed up on time and packed up, wrapped everything, drove, and unpacked our crowded one bedroom apartment in SF to Lafayette in 7 hours flat. Nice guys, very friendly, took good care of everything, and made sure it was in the right place before leaving. Good deal, good service, highly recommended.
