The people at North Star Movers are true professionals. In December 2013 I used North Star Movers to move my deceased brother’s belongings into storage and they were on-time, did an outstanding job of ensuring everything was packed correctly. They helped me and my family in more than just moving. The movers were sympathetic to my family’s lost. I’d recommend Northstar to any and all and their prices are great and I’m glad to have done business with them.

I moved over the Christmas holiday and received absolutely great service from this company. I would recommend them again to anyone who is in need of movers. The guys that actually did the move were friendly, efficient and most importantly took care of my personal belongings during the move. I would definitely use NorthStar again!

We were moving my mom after 51 years from Arcadia to Seal Beach after 51 years in her house
This in itself was stressful, so finding a mover I was concerned UNTIL I called NorthStar Movers
From the first call to Alma and her patience and understanding I felt relieved
The follow up was perfection
Agustin, Yvan and Louis call and showed up at 8:00 am (window was 8:00 am to 10:00am), they packed carefully, moved everything out 21/2 hours
Came down to Seal Beach, helped arrange a bit on request for me and were as nice and helpful as could be)
I tipped these guys as they were just the best…taking the stress out of a difficult move

I have successfully used Northstar several times for local moves. Their prices are fair, their teams well trained and courteous, always on time and work efficiently. This review is late in coming but I had a small move in 2012 and although it was a short distance the movers treated my belongings as if they were moving
me across the country. I was very impressed with this company they are professional & courteous I would definitely use them again.

I hate moving. I mean I really hate moving. I had a crappy apartment in SF for far too long because of this. This was so easy, I’m really kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
They took great care in packing and handling my things, as well as disassembling any furniture. When we arrived at my new place, they asked me where to put everything. They also put all the furniture back together super fast. Tim was great and explained all the charges. It was actually cheaper than I initially thought!
When you factor in the hassle of packing, renting a U-Haul, inconveniencing your friends, your back – it is well worth the cost. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to friends looking for movers.
