NorthStar Moving Company provided us with excellent service from start to finish. We became aware of NorthStar after a friend had used them successfully for his local move. A few months later when we were preparing for our own local move, we called and scheduled with NorthStar. It was simple, direct and convenient right from the start. Over the phone, the sales and move coordinating teams were very professional and extremely helpful. They explained every detail and answered every question we had. Our fears and worries about moving day were pleasantly dispelled by their patience and experience. On moving day, the movers arrived on time and ready to go. Raoul was the foreman, and he was an excellent captain. He got down to business and was friendly. His team, Martin and Alex, were also excellent. Together they were a fast and efficient team who took great care with our belongings. Our move was completed on time without any hiccups, hassles or worries. I would hire NorthStar on my next move, no questions asked. I highly recommend them for their excellent customer service and experienced movers.

I researched on the internet a variety of moving companies in Los Angeles. I chose NorthStar Moving Company because they were reasonably priced. They came out to my apartment before my “moving day” to give me a free estimate as to how much it would cost to move the furniture. They gave me a time frame as to when they would come on the day of the move: 12-6pm. The good thing was that they would call me 1 hour before they came so I did not have to wait at home for them. I was worried about having someone move my 60″ t.v.! They handled my furniture with care and none of my furniture was broken or scratched. I would recommend NorthStar to help with your move.

Okay – so we had these ENORMOUS couches that my boss had purchased for our office. Of course, they wouldn’t fit in the elevator OR the stairs, so the first moving company gave up on them. I called a second moving company and they couldn’t figure it out either. Finally we called North Star and those guys were able to somehow (through ingenuity, blood, sweat, and removing legs and a 2 ton door) get the couches upstairs. They are efficient, inexpensive and NOT LAZY. They were amazing. I would highly recommend them. They were also well-mannered and patient and I never felt like I was putting them out with such a difficult job. 5 star service for a 3 star price!

I had a great experience with Northstar. Ron Cohen gave me an estimate that ended up being exactly right. He also suggested a 4 man crew and gave me the same price as the other companies gave for 3 men. It got done a lot quicker and the 4 movers were all really cool guys. I recommend giving them a call if you need to move. The price is about average, but the service is great. I’ve gone with cheaper companies in the past and gotten burned. This is definitely the best value out there.

I used NorthStar for a business move of some large equipment. Setting up the appointment was extremely easy and only took about 5 minutes. I asked about hidden costs and when the job was done, I owed exactly the amount that I was quoted. The drivers were very professional, and polite and took care with the items being moved. The truck had a very adequate lift for these large items, and all items were well secured within the truck. I had one hiccup with the move, not due to NorthStar. I realized after the movers had left that there were two large items that I had forgotten to call out for the move. I called NorthStar about 15 mins after their movers had left, and spoke to dispatch. They said they would find the drivers, and call me back. The long and the short of it is the drivers came back and moved the two items. I was within the three hour minimum, so there was not charge. All in all a good experience. I would use them again.

I moved just over a week ago, and am finally unpacked, it was a short move, I stayed in Hollywood and have never used movers before, but will always use them from now on. NorthStar Movers were fantastic. They were polite, courteous, and helpful on the phone. They gave me all the information on the phone and answered all of my questions. My sister has used movers several times and gave me some advise on questions to ask about hidden costs and the people on the phone covered almost everything on my list before I had a chance to ask about it. They also emailed me an official quote and gave me names and phone numbers to call in case I had any questions. Booking was a piece of cake, I gave them a day and they gave me a choice of times, confirmed with an email, and then called to confirm the day before the move reminding me that they would call 1-2 hours before the movers were to arrive. And that is exactly what happened! The 3 guys who moved me were great, they were friendly and talked to me while moving me quicker than I could have imagined, I have a one bedroom, and they had everything wrapped and loaded into the truck in an hour. It took them about 90 minutes to unload everything and put my bed, desk and bookshelf back together for me. I moved in with a friend who had a couple of heavy things to take down to the curb, and the guys even did that for us, for no extra charge. This was the best moving experience I’ve ever had and I’m sure a large part of it was because of the movers. I will use this company every time I move from now on, they were amazing!!

NorthStar Moving Company was by very far the best moving company I have ever used. They showed up right on time, with clean, polite & respectful movers. I have a lot of heavy & fragile furniture and they were able to handle everything seemingly effortlessly. They had my whole house packed up, on the truck truck & unloaded in just a short work day, I couldn’t have asked them to move any quicker or with more care. When I first called NorthStar I spoke with a very professional & polite woman named Kat Alexander, She handled all of my questions through out the entire moving process, It was truly refreshing to get to speak with her every time I needed to call, knowing I wouldn’t have to re-explain the whole situation all over again with a different person. They had one of the best price tags I’ve ever even heard of a moving company providing, they were completely fair in what they charged me, especially considering how much work they actually had to do, along with helping me box things up throughout the day, because I waited till the last minute to pack. I moved to Los Angeles about 6 years ago and have moved around the area near 10 times, using all the well known and not so well known moving companies, and the only problem I had with NorthStar was that I didn’t find them 6 years ago; They would have saved me a lot of time, money, hassle & damaged property. As long as I live in Los Angeles, I will never look for another moving company again.

I received such good service from Eliseo,Alfredo and Miguel of Northstar movers that it has compelled me to write my first review. The crew headed by Eliseo was extremely professional, considerate and fast. They are fast in a good way, they were organized and made sure that none of my stuff was damaged. I spoke with the office and they were clear of minimum times and cost, so no complaints there. The bottom line is.. the company strive to do a good job from customer relations, execution of the move and fair price.
