Great service. Loved that they send a person out to you for the Pre move estimate. Very helpful to get some early questions answered and the estimate was spot on.

Just completed a Sunday move with NorthStar Moving. Ron Cohen accommodated me with a Sunday move because rain was forecast for Saturday and it did rain hard. The move was flawless and the job was completed within the estimated price by Ron. The moving crew worked tirelessly until the job was completed with only one short break. They also helped me with a drop off along the route at my daughter’s place. I could not ask for more.

This is the only moving company that sent a human being out to do an estimate — Ron Cohen was extremely professional and helpful. The four men who came to pack and move did an incredible job, treating each piece of furniture carefully. I’ve never seen such excellent packing. The follow up was timely–everything arrived well (it was a cross country move from Long Beach to Orlando). And even though they couldn’t guarantee the delivery exactly — everything arrived one week after pickup. We choose this company because of the yelp reviews and wanted to add another commendation to help others make their selection.

Wendy in customer service gets a 5 star for going above and beyond to make my move a positive experience. She is a definite asset to the company. The workers were extremely hard working & nothing was broken.

I can tell you that I could not be happier that I was with Carlos Perez and his guys. They were capable, efficient and all had nice attitudes. Carlos was particulary skilled when it came time to break down furniture and put it back together again, remove and replace door handles and a door — he was amazingly quick and skilled. Everything got to my place without a scratch and without damage to the walls and molding of either place. The whole move went quicker than I expected too.

I just used Northstar for my move from LA to San Francisco. I HATE moving, but Northstar made it as easy as possible. Ron did an in home estimate and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Both the LA and San Francisco moving crews were great! I have heavy, bulky furniture and I never heard any complaints. They packed carefully and efficiently. They even gave me the option to choose between two delivery dates, depending upon what was more convenient for me. I will definitely use Northstar for any future moves!

I had told my fiance that next time we move we’re getting a moving company because I am too beat up for this moving crap. I had asked around at work if anyone knew of a good moving company and someone did. She had used Northstar and had recommended it to numerous people at the office and raved about how good they were. Of course telling my fiance this wasn’t enough, she started researching on the interwebs to find out what others had said and all the reviews she found were good. We had Ron come out to do an estimate. He was friendly, informative and helpful with suggestions. He put our minds at ease with the move which can be overwhelming. On move day the Northstar crew was on time and wrapped everything and was very careful with all of our furniture. All three were guys friendly and hard working. On the off load my brother and I went out to get food and beer for our friends who had come over to help (no need, Northstar had taken care of it all) and when we came back the Northstar guys were done unloading!!! Can’t say enough good things about Ron and his crew. When we move again (and I hope its not for a long time lol) we’re calling out Northstar again. erin-x
