I was dreading having to move especially since I have a baby at home and needed the baby essentials unpacked and ready to go the same day. I had 3 guys from Northstar who were total life savers. These guys showed up a few minutes early and they had our stuff loaded into the truck in less than 2 hours. I was so amazed a bought the guys lunch. After lunch they started unloading and we were done a couple hours later. I was sure the move was going to go into the evening. Needless to say I was in total shock when we were done by 2pm. It was by far the easiest move I’ve ever experienced. The movers were fast, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend Northstar to anyone I know. I thought their pricing is reasonable and their service was excellent!

NorthStar recently moved me from L.A. to NW Indiana in the middle of winter. Eric and his crew in California and Haji and his crew in Indiana were fantastic — on time, under budget and no lost items. The folks on the phone (props to Tori) were also top-notch. They scheduled my move and walked me through all the steps with minimum hassle, and then kept me posted as things progressed. Overall, this is a great outfit that delivers a highly professional service with a personal touch, and at a very reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend NorthStar to my friends.
Northstar did a wonderful job with our move. They were professional, pleasant, and handled all of our stuff with great care. We couldn’t have been happier with our move. I would highly recommend this company.
Moving is stressful. It sucks. Nobody likes the process, so these guys are a lifesaver. They make life easier and as stress free as possible.
The people on the phone and on the actual move were all awesome. Tori helped me on the phone she was great in getting me through the options and Guy H. and his crew moved my crap fast. Get the extra mover guy to help out; 3 people is just a small upgrade in price, but it goes much faster.
They have moving blankets and tape and can help you get everything squared away and are great about wrapping tv’s, mattresses, etc. Reasonable price too; worth the cost so you don’t have to bug your friends to help and the truck rental etc.

Earlier this year I moved from LA county to South Orange County and they were a huge help. The movers showed up on time, actually a little early. They were friendly and very professional, and funny. While on the freeway, they were great. The drive in traffic was about an hour, and no one got lost or anything. All my things were delivered in perfect condition.
After reading reviews on this website for movers, I was thinking maybe I needed to drive myself to California and bring it to Ga. Northstar was great!!!! I cannot say enough, they were attentive to our belongings , our needs, our budget. We were not able to meet them in Ca, so our uncle met them and he was equally impressed. Thank you for taking great care of our stuff, being here on time, and being courteous. If we ever move again, we have your number. Big Kudos To Assi, Tom and Adam. Awesome work ethic and believe me I find that truly hard to find these days. The estimate remained the same no extras!!!!!
I’ve moved from NY to LA or LA to NY four times in the last six years. This year I did it again and for the first time used Northstar. By far my best experience. Ron the estimator got my weight correct within 50 pounds the day he came to give me a price. The guys that packed up the house were fantastic and fast, as were the unload guys on the other end. And the dispatch and office people were all super friendly and responsive. That doesn’t mean there weren’t a few small problems here and there, but these things come up all the time when you are moving across country, and every single time Northstar’s people went out of their way to make it right. I never felt like they were trying to give me the runaround or jack the price up. I highly recommend them.
After reading bunch of great reviews on Northstar Moving, I decided to hire them despite getting a few other recommendations for other moving companies from friends. It was one of those do I trust numerous reviews on Internet or go with single instances of good experiences by friends. I decided to trust the internet and went with Northstar and I don’t have any regrets.
Spoke with Wendy 5 days before the move and she quoted me an hourly rate based on how many guys she though I would need. Gave me 5% off for being a yelper. She told me the guys would be at my apartment between 8am and 10am. 4 guys lead by Joel showed up at 8am on the dot the day of. Had my old apartment packed into the truck in 3 hours. It was amazing how quickly yet carefully they took all my staff away. And it only took them 1 hour to put all my staff in my new place.
They performed well beyond my expectation. Five stars!

I would just like to say thank you to all at Northstar Moving for making our move fast and painless. I think I speak for most people that finding fair and professional movers can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. But Northstar’s group of guys (Gil, Herberto, Ernesto) took really good care of me and my wife (and everything we own). They were fast, friendly, and professional… A great team!
Joel and his crew showed up early and were very efficient and hard working, as well as being pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend North Star based upon our experience.
