NorthStar sent us Carlos, Leo & Jose for our move on Friday morning 5/7. They did an amazing job! On time, great communication, so much care and consideration for our belongings, professionalism and absolutely the kindest & hardest working guys. We had a LOT of stuff (we learned during our move) and they handled everything with total care & professionalism. We will absolutely request them for our next move! Albert, Wilber, and Carlos Crew were tasked with moving a 10x15x10 storage unit filled from wall to wall to ceiling and loading into a U-Pack Trailer I was sending across country.
They Emptied that Storage Unit in around an hour. Amazing!
Then I tasked them to help me stay at the 17 linear feet of trailer I had paid for and marked with tape. Stating only if we can pack it as high and tight as you can and not to exceed that 17 ft if they could. In 1 hr they had unloaded all the items and packed them so well they only used 13 linear feet of the trailer saving me $1,000.00 in transport cost. I was forever grateful.

The guys that came out were super nice and helpful. My move fell under their minimum fees because it was too light, but they were pretty careful even knowing that I was donating everything to a local thrift store. Showed up on time and delivered to the store. Would definitely use again!

I found NorthStar on Yelp when looking for a moving company that could store my items and then move them from SF to Jersey City when I was ready. John and his team came to my apartment in SF to pick up my things, take apart my bed and wrap up a few larger items. John was so organized and detail oriented – the team treated my items with care and made sure everything was packed and wrapped properly. When I was ready to move to Jersey City 6 months later, I first worked with Lotem on a quote and then Edgar who arranged moving my items out of storage and loaded into a truck. Edgar is amazing to work with – he put up with all my questions and follow ups and was always extremely responsive and friendly. He kept me updated on the delivery date. The day of the delivery in Jersey City, Vladimir and his team were amazing. The were prompt and finished everything in 1.5 hours! Vladimir was so friendly – the team took great care of all my belongings and everything was delivered in the same condition as when they were picked up by John and his team in SF. Moving is stressful and moving across the country is extremely stressful! I’m so happy that I picked NorthStar. I highly recommend them!
