These guys were super efficient, polite and helpful. We were very unprepared before our move date, but they showed up and got us packed quickly. They wrapped and moved everything carefully – no damage at all. They communicated with both buildings so we had to do very little, other than sit back and play traffic cop to tell them where to put stuff. We felt guilty watching these guys work so hard! 10/10 would use this company again for the next move.

Just finished moving through Northstar and I’m so glad we did. They made the whole moving process super easy. We got a quotation through their website for an hourly rate. Which included 3 movers and 1 truck. We booked everything online and was even able to get same week service. We were unable to pack some last minute stuff. But they were able to help us pack – and quick too! The team that came was very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again. If you’re thinking of using their service , i would highly recommend you to.

BEST SERVICE EVER!! I don’t leave yelp reviews often so you know it’s mind blowing service that prompted me to do so in this case. There were three folks who came to help – Carlitos, Juan and Rick. The nicest most efficient and hardworking men we have ever come across. They genuinely care about getting everything done quickly and efficiently so you are not over burdened with the moving costs , we have moved five times in three years and tried out various local movers before stumbling across this one on help. And they did NOT disappoint. Excellent customer service, friendly employees. We had already been scarred by a different company we used last year “local n long distance movers”, they didn’t even get half the stuff done that these people did. It’s hard to find good reliable folks in the Bay Area, so please don’t hesitate before booking them. We are so so grateful to them for their services, everyone charges money for labor done but rarely do you find people who are passionate about what they do and do it SO SO well. I’d give them a million stars if I could

We used Northstar to move our household in the East Bay. The moving team worked efficiently and handled our items with care.

We were in the market for great movers to help a family member with a local move and NorthStar came highly recommended. While I did not schedule the move itself, I took care of letting the movers in, arranging which items needed to go, and payment. Our movers (Eric and Alex) showed a lot of consideration, arrived on time, wrapped everything up safely and delivered the items on time to their new home. They were friendly, polite and nothing was broken. And I feel their price was very reasonable. I would definitely use NorthStar again! Highly recommended.

10th time I’ve used Northstar.  I’ve always been very happy with their services – this move was probably the smoothest yet.  I used another moving company once after hiring Northstar, and learned my lesson, hiring Northstar again for my next move.

Even though I am a single woman, I have a ton of furniture and about 40 boxes.  I also have pets that are eager to get in the way. These guys are so professional and fast!  They are breathing hard throughout the whole move.

Marlon and his crew did an amazing job moving us last night from one 3bd into another 3bd. They showed up on time and were ready to move quickly.  They took great care of wrapping and padding our furniture, and we survived a big move with minimal issues.  They worked really hard, especially since I was moving from a place with a very small elevator and they had to use the stairs often.   When I move again (hopefully it won’t be for some time) I’ll definitely ask for Marlon and his team again.  Thanks guys…we appreciate all you did to help us with our move!

Brandon, Santos & Ian did such an amazing job today! They helped us move down from LA to Orange County and we’re so fast, friendly and careful with all of our things. They even stopped on the way down to pick up our new fridge from Pacific Sales and got it loaded on the truck super quickly. They disassembled and assembled bedroom furniture and everything was wrapped and padded so well that we didn’t have damages to anything. We really appreciated all their help and will definitely be using them again for future moves.

Everything from Northstar Moving was awesome. From our first meeting with David who quoted our move, to the actual movers on the day of moving. Bryce, Austin, Alex, and Johne were the 4 guys that helped us on the day of our move. They packed the stuff that we ran out of time and didn’t pack, and they moved everything with care. Nothing was damaged during the move. They were all super friendly and helpful as well. Price was exactly as quoted and they had us from our old house to our new house in 8 hours. They put everything back together better than it was put together. I highly recommend NorthStar Moving, our experience could not have gone better.
