Spent ten hours with these guys yesterday and they are great. Started with Stefi in the office, very professional and helpful in scheduling the move, following up via email, etc. My crew yesterday–Orlando, Lloyd and Ross–were right on time and worked solidly all through a very long day. All my furniture was carefully wrapped and padded. NO DAMAGE. Price very reasonable for the care and work ethic you get. Second time I have used North Star and they are definitely my LA mover of choice. Don’t forget the Yelp coupon!

Planning a long distance move. Got a call back from my online inquiry the next business day and was able to schedule an on site estimate at a time that worked for us. Got a call from Mike about 30 minutes before he arrived letting us know he was on the way, and he got there at the beginning of the appointment window. Great experience so far.
Chris and CJ arrived early and waited for me to finish up some previous business. I found them to be nice, helpful,friendly, fast, and careful. This was a very easy experience that could have been awful. I don’t move often, and hate doing it, but these guys were seriously great guys. Things I didn’t pack carefully were packed carefully for me. It was done much faster than I anticipated. and they were helpful throughout the process. I would recommend them and hire them again without hesitation.
Northstar was great! A very painless and efficient move. They asked questions when they are not sure where to put things. Also very careful with all of my belonging.
Additionally they helped me reassemble a shelf that was particularly difficult to put together. That offer tips on how to reassemble it when even I wasn’t sure. Edgar was a great help!

First of all I changed the date 3 times and they were so nice and accommodating.
When I finally did move, they came on time and were terrific! I had Matthew, Eduardo and Ivan. They were careful, courteous, competent.
Nothing broken, nothing dinged, and my walls didn’t suffer a bit.

Wow! Just had the best moving company! They come prepared, very polite, respectful of our property, easy temperament and we are pleased with our experience. Can’t say enough good things…. They were great!
Nelson and his crew rocked! These guys got all of our stuff loaded up safely, quickly and efficiently. They wrapped all the furniture with sufficient blankets and wrap, and were careful not to damage anything. Our belongings made it from the old apartment to our new house with 0 damage.
They were scheduled to come between 8-10 am, they showed up at around 8:20am, after giving me about a 30 minute warning. They started at 8:30, and just worked nonstop until 11am, when the apartment was empty.
They were right behind me in arriving at our new house, and started unloading immediately. They wouldn’t even break for food that I brought from the deli and instead waited until all was unloaded.
They beat the 8 hour estimate for that size apt, and they were done in 6, which was great.
All in all really great experience.

I recently had an amazing experience with North Star Movers and can’t recommend them any higher. My team (as I will refer to them) was made up of Arturo, Ross & Andres. They were organized, efficient, polite and so nice!!! This is the 1st time i’ve ever used a moving company vs just paying my friends to help me. Once you go NorthStar Movers, you don’t go back. After getting quotes from different moving companies, I decided to go with Northstar movers. Getting the quote was fast and easy. They also call and confirm before the day of the move just in case any changes needed to be made. The move was on a Sunday, they arrived on time, but I was upset when I only saw 3 movers. I got the quote for 4 men and confirmed it, but things happen. Let me tell you, these guys are amazing. Arturo M, Jorge M, and Jimmi C were the men that handled moving a full 10×30 storage and transferred to a 2 story home. These guys are the real deal. You don’t have to take my word for it but it doesn’t hurt to get a quote from them.
Very Professional, efficient and reasonable. Three guys to move a 3000 sq ft house… probably could have used 4, but we made the best of who we had. They were careful with the furniture and items. Nothing broken in the move…amazing! They set us the beds and furniture in the new place. Will use them again in my next move.

The crew consisting of Darryl, Eduardo, Abraham and Manny did an excellent job completing my move from Eagle Rock to Downtown Los Angeles. They had 4 different flights of stairs to deal with in the Eagle Rock location and delivered everything to a second floor unit in Downtown LA faster than anticipated. Big props to this crew because they hustled non stop the entire time! They were all friendly and really easy to work with on top of all that.

I called several moving companies to prepare for my move. Stefy and Annie got back to me quickly and made accommodations for my date and number of movers needed, then emailed me the details right away. Their pricing was very affordable and fair.

Don’t hesitate call them! they will get the job done and done right and done well and efficiently and with great service! Chris and Ben were on the job! They called me on their way and communicated exactly what time they would get there within the timeframe that is a huge deal for work big company to be able to get that kind of service. They were so fast and efficient they helped my elderly parents move furniture out of their place as they were getting new flooring put in! I was booked with another company but I didn’t have a good feeling about it and I did some research and I found this company and I’m so thankful I went with my gut feeling and they were able to accommodate me right away! I called them the day before and they were able to book it! Jessica and Gabriella the receptionists was more than thorough and sweet as can be and very professional! Don’t just try to get some fly by Night cheap deal when you’re moving! is not worth it go with whats reliable and efficient and it would be a less headache trust me! Do you guys work their butts off and they deserve to get paid well for what they do! Moving is hard I have so much respect for them! Go guys!
