It seemed too good to be true but it was not. 5 guys packed my entire house, moved it, and partially unpacked it into my new house all in one day and for significantly less than the not-to-exceed price I was quoted. Piano, large furniture, 75 pieces of fine china, all unscathed. I can’t believe I ever moved on my own before.

Great customer service, very professional. I requested a quote online very late one night, and received a follow-up phone call the next morning. Spoke with Ana about a local move – she was very friendly and easy to talk to, and quickly followed up with me by email with rates and next steps. We have used North Star Movers 3 times. Each time, from the estimate process to move day, has met or exceeded my expectations. Gil has done all 3 of our estimates and has been a pleasure to work with. He and his team remember who we are years after our moves. For our most recent move, Luis R, Jose T, Juan L, and Wilber C arrived and finished on time, took great care with our belongings, and were extremely polite. They were also personable and fun which made the day a lot less stressful. We enjoyed working with everyone and will definitely continue to use them.

I just met with Michael Pomeroy from Northstar. He came to our home to provide and estimate. Unfortunately, our dates didn’t align with their availability. However, Michael too the time to answer questions, gave us advice on moving insurance, helped us to evaluate other estimates, etc. I really appreciate the customer friendly approach and willingness to help us out.
Luis, Ruben, and Arbo were efficient and considerate. I couldn’t believe how fast they emptied my apartment! They really made moving a lot less stressful than it normally is. I would recommend Northstar to anyone in the LA and OC area.

I have moved 11 times over the last 8.5 years. I have used Northstar since the very start and everytime the guys move me quickly, safetly, and have great positive attitudes. Hopefully, this will be my last move and again, I am using Northstar.

Fantastic and easily the lowest price of the five bids. They boxed our mattress and springs. They blanket wrapped the furniture, taped it and shrink wrapped it, all included. Best of all they got our 500 lbs to LA from the Bay Area in a week. No extras were added to the quote. Hassle free and would use them again.

I have had to move 4 times in the last year due to life circumstances… Yep 4 times! Each time I used northstar because they are kind, courteous, efficient and just get the job done! My North Star Movers just finished and they did an amazing job!! Orlando and his team were great. They moved everything quickly and very cautiously. I have never used professional movers before, but Northstar Movers came highly recommended by several friends. They made scheduling within my short timeframe so easy and were incredibly knowledgeable and polite. I felt like I was in the right hands immediately. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know who needs a moving company!
I have gotten a quick quote and scheduled my move with a customer rep, Lynn. Friendly and professional scheduling. She answered all my questions that I had about the move including a few tips on wrapping some fragile items. I was satisfied with my scheduled appointment, looking forward to my move.

I just booked my move with Ana Coy at NorthStar. She made the process quick and painless. I like that their office is open on Sunday and I was able to make the booking in 5 minutes. Their hourly rates are competitive and based on the many other 5 star Yelp reviews I feel confident that everything will go smoothly. I will update this review in a month after the move.
