Moving: what a nightmare! The last time I moved I said next move will be in a pine box, feet first. But, then after 13 years, I decided to move again. That’s right. This was strictly voluntary. Nobody forced me. Yet, I really dreaded the move and all the broken things.
Well, let me tell you that I have moved 10 times over the years and these folks were the best ever. I’m always skeptical of 5 star reviews but please believe me when I say they are a six star company, 5 here and one in their name. They deserve every star they get. Clean, courteous, and eager to please. Not a grumpy among them, both packers and movers.
But best of all: NOT A SINGLE THING WAS BROKEN! Nothing, nada, …
I’d use them again with no qualms and would recommend them to everyone.

We moved from Pasadena to Diamond Bar and it was extremely stress free thanks to North Star and the three amazing guys they sent out: Andres R, Luis R, and Kevin H! Not only where they super quick and efficient with moving all our boxes (we had a ton) they were also extremely careful to make sure that everything was delivered without a scratch! Third move in 2 years… Sometimes life throws you curve balls lucky for me I have Northstar as my bat and they knock it out the park every time. I gotta give a shout out to my favorite rep Ana. Luis R, Carlos Z, and Farid F were amazing! They came right on time, were very fast packing up and unloading at the new place, were very careful with our belongings, and definitely knew what they were doing. They made our move from Los Angeles to Huntington Beach super easy and I would definitely recommend this company for anyone with moving needs.
I am so pleased with my moving experience. The guys got in, did their job, and got my stuff to my new place quickly and carefully. They were even able to work while I was rushing to pack some final things in boxes. They were super transparent about pricing at the end, although I wish they had explained some of the lines they asked me to sign, rather than just highlighting and telling me to initial here and there.
We booked NorthStar for our move from SoCal to SF Bay Area as they were recommended by a good friend of ours and they truly met & even exceeded our expectations! Everyone (customer reps, packers, dispatchers and drivers) at NorthStar is friendly, helpful and professional. Also, their moving price was the best in the market! There was just one minor hiccup at the time of delivery but one of their client care representatives ‘Lisa Avelar’ handled our case very well. She was very prompt, super nice with us and instrumental in ensuring that we get the best customer service in a timely manner. We love NorthStar and would like to highly recommend them for both short as well as long distance moves.
This is going to be my third time using Northstar Moving Company. I actually got the companies name from one of my old apartment managers here in Los Angeles and it was the best recommendation I have received! My crew of Erick, Gabriel and Edgar were courteous, friendly and busted their guts to get the move done as fast as they could but still being very careful with the furniture. Highly recommended.
Ok so now the move has happened- and I gotta say, James and his team really blew me away! They got my entire large 2bd house packed, delivered, and unpacked in less than 6 hours!! This included over 50
Boxes, 2 beds with frames, dressers, kitchen table, and a ton of shelving! I couldn’t make it in time to help unloading so they even listened to my face timed instructions for where to put everything. The guys were very courteous to me, my boyfriend, and my neighbors (much appreciated especially when moving into a new place), and handled the left over dust bunnies that kept cropping up with grace. I will totally be using these guys again for my next move.

This is my second move with northstar. The movers were exactly on time, had no problem navigating a confusing building and parking lot.
All of our items were wrapped on blankets no charge, no damages, they were quick, professional, and beat their estimate by about 3 hours.

Jorge, Josh and Chris moved us out of our apartment safely and in record time. These were amazing. Very friendly crew. They were able to accommodate us with a last minute weekend appointment that really saved us. Totally recommend.
These guys did a great job – fast, professional and a fair price. Adrian, Misa and Rodolfo were the three movers I had and we were done in 3hrs as planned. Originally I thought I would just move on my own with a buddy, but that never would have worked – and North Star saved me so much time and effort that it was worth every dollar.
On my boyfriend’s moving day, Joseph, Ellery, and Danny came to the rescue! He moved from the West Side to behind the Orange Curtain and they made it fast and seamless. They even helped him unpack his wardrobe boxes! Thanks guys! I will definitely recommend your moving service to my friends!

My wife and I needed to move from an apartment in Los Angeles to another in the same city, and we also needed to store our furniture, etc., for a few months in between the moves. Our dealings with NorthStar were handled professionally by their office staff. They kept us informed about the whole process. The 3 guys they sent at both ends of the move were cordial, helpful, and very easy to work with and to discuss how we should do things in terms of packing, etc. They worked quickly and constantly the whole time they were with us and seemed concerned about protecting our furniture, etc.
The move cost more than I had originally anticipated, as you pay for their time to and from their storage facility, which was a significant distance. However, we were informed about that and the likely cost before the actual move. I don’t know if anything was broken, as I am not in LA at the moment, and my wife has not had time to unpack much of anything.

Let me start off by saying I HATE MOVING! So this will be the first time i’m going to have the professionals help me. My friend referred me to this company, so I give them a call and spoke to Anna. So far she has made me confident and relaxed and the whole booking process is pretty painless. I will keep you posted when we are completely moved to our new home.
Took a little over 3 hours, but that’s still faster than the 3-4 days I guesstimate it would have taken me and my friends and fam. And unlike my friends and fam, Chase and his crew ensured the furniture arrived in pristine condition, and disassembled and reassembled the sectionals with care. The move team was jovial and fun to be around, but still efficient. I’d hire these guys again should the need arise.
Literally have to give these men all the praise I could ever give!!! I could not have done this on my own and I swear movers are just the best option! Pay the money, it’s worth it.

Spoke with Ana today to sort out dates, quotes etc. She was beyond helpful, and was able to easily accommodate my many requests as we coordinated times with our building management.

Repeat customer of Northstar Movers! As a renter, it’s hard enough having to hunt down a new apartment and move in Los Angeles. How nice to not have to search for a reliable moving company! Jessica F. just helped me set up my second move using Northstar, and she was patient, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. I’m already relieved to know the guys will show up on time and treat my stuff like it’s their own, and not try to milk the clock. Easy to book even the week before the move. I will use NorthStar again and again!

Awesome company. Timely and strong talented movers who got our heavy furniture up 28 stairs. They were careful not to make marks on the walls. They worked their butts off. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is moving.
This is the 6th or 7th time I’ve used these guys. Never had a problem. This time my foreman was David, and he and his guys were fantastic – really helpful, plus they were funny and really cool. I had three locations and got done in 5 hours total, so it was a lot faster than the estimate I originally got for 8 hours. I hope I don’t have to move again anytime soon but if I do I will definitely keep these guys on speed dial.
So far Great Company..Ana Coy has really great customer service, so I totally recommend her if you are moving. So far great company and looking forward to the move from LA to New York!!
