Moving across the country from LA, I was so stressed to find movers that I could trust, etc. Based on Yelp reviews, I chose Northstar and WOW –
I couldn’t have had an easier, more pleasant and more seamless experience.
The team in LA that loaded everything took lots of care in wrapping all of my furniture, my mirrors, my glass tabletops. Everything was labeled and
beyond organized. Not to mention they did all of it with smiles on their faces and awesome attitudes.
Then, due to unforseen circumstances, I had to delay the delivery of my belongings by a few weeks, so by the time they dropped off to me today in
South Carolina, they had had possession of my belongings for 34 days, and they gave me no trouble for asking to have them keep everything for that long.
Today, the delivery guys were prompt, SO NICE, very fast and very organized. I can’t speak highly enough of Juan and Claudio who delivered; Rick,
Saul + Frank who loaded me up in LA; the whole Northstar team on the phones/email communication.
And – the costing was EXACTLY what I was told and had anticipated – not a penny more.
Especially for what can be a super stressful time, I CANNOT recommend them highly enough!!
Can’t say enough about how great of a job NorthStar Movers does. Yesterday was my third or fourth move with the company. Jorge G, Gerardo and
Ruben showed up 15 minutes into the arrival window. They got everything loaded into the truck quickly and helped break down some of the furniture.
Jorge G must be the best tetris player in the world because he got everything loaded into a storage unit that was 25% too small.
Best part was that they got the job done two hours earlier than estimated and under the budget. Highly recommended.
Thank you NorthStar for sending over Ron Cohen as our relocation specialist. Ron made it easy to coordinate with our schedule since I spoke to him before taking off for vacation. He came over exactly in the window he said he would – between 9am and 10am, Ron arrived at 9:30AM. Going over the list of furniture and items was quick and easy. Ron answered all of my questions regarding any changes in the itemized list, the process, insurance, etc. I hope that the actual move is as smooth as the estimation visit. I do not anticipate any hiccups and I will follow up to update my review once the move is complete. Thank you again,

I had the monumental task of finding a reputable, full service moving and storage company for my boss and his family. Their current, 4 floor home is being renovated and EVERYTHING has to be removed. I found NorthStar based on their great reviews, mostly being on yelp. Right away I was contacted by the project manager Ron Cohen, who has just been fantastic! He has been easily accessible anytime I have a question or need help with something else pertaining to the move. He has patiently re-adjusted the bid as items have been added and dates have been constantly changing. This is a complicated move, in my eyes and he is really making it so much simpler and easing my fears! He has helped me find third party companies that I need to de-mantle and un-mount appliances, furniture, etc. He brought to light issues that never would have occurred to me on my own. He had his guys send over boxes so my boss and his family can pack a bit ahead. Then NorthStar will come and finish the rest of the packing as well as provide storage for the duration of the renovation. I feel very confident in the job getting done safely and on time! If you are reading this in search of a great moving company with wonderful employees, call NorthStar Moving and ask for Ron Cohen!

I have moved twice and both times I used NorthStar Movers. They did a great job in moving all of my furniture and exercise equipment of my 3
bedroom townhouse. They are friendly and they get the job done quickly….and they do it right!

Moving my elderly parents from San Francisco to Maryland was a challenge. The easiest part of the move was having NorthStar move the furniture for us.
Everything was done professionally from start to finish. The communication was excellent at every step, the move priced out exactly as they said it would.

Without hesitation, I called up NorthStar Moving for my upcoming move. Because of the experience I had last time moving from L.A. to the Bay, I was
hoping for the same treatment this time around with this local Bay Area move, and that’s exactly what I got. I spoke with Carrissa of the Client Loyalty Team
who helped me out with my arrangements… the quote was quick and straight to the point, and all-inclusive (insurance, taxes, etc.). And, of course, planning

My husband and I had to move one block over but we just couldn’t do it on our own. We decided to hire movers and went with NorthStar Moving Company because of their very competitive price and stellar reviews.
We had 3 awesome movers assigned to us; Ramiro G (Team Leader), Chris M (Driver) and Lan L (Helper). They did the job in no time. They also took care of our belongings like they were their own. They made sure we barely had anything to do when we got to our new home. They even rebuilt our Ikea bed which is usually a nightmare. Overall it was a very pleasant experience (moving usually isn’t for us). Make sure to ask for those guys, you won’t regret it.
Oh, and the Yelp offer made us save $50, which was great too.

Hands-down the best moving company in Los Angeles! Not only have I used them before I continue to use them again. Their customer service is in A+. this is the second time i’ve used NorthStar Movers. once again, the service was great. the crew was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and quick
(without rushing). not only was the physical moving service great, but the entire process was seamless from booking the service, to the final delivery. i will only
book with NorthStar moving forward (i’ve used other services in the past and they don’t even compare), and recommend that you do the same.
We just spoke to Carrisa who was very supportive and informative providing detailed information about how to insure our expensive electronics and
explaining moving logistics. We have two complications in our moves, including stairs at each location and moving 2 apartments into 1 larger space,
so we are happy to be supported by such a solid and professional moving company. I will update this further once we actually move for more details!
Chase, Jorge and Joseph were amazing !! They took all the stress out of the moving. They were extremely prompt. They called ahead to let me know they
were on their way. They did all of the packing. Everything was very well wrapped and labeled. Nothing was damaged in the move and they did it in less time
than estimated. Very professional and polite. I would definitely use them again!
