This is the second time I’ve used North Star Movers — and I’m so glad I did! I had used them previously to move from So Cal to Nor Cal back in 2011, and just used them for a local move in LA.

Our move was long, and what complicated — we had two pickups before getting to our final destination, but Josue R, Hannes, and Obidio made it a BREEZE. My fiance and I were moving in together and as you can imagine we had LOADS of items. The team took care to get everything in and out, without any scratches, dings or nicks.

The team is professional, courteous, and works hard to make sure your items arrive safely and with no issues. From the moment I called, until the moment they pulled away, I was met with nothing but professionalism. The rates are fair, and the services is exactly what you want out of movers.

No one likes moving — but at North Star, they make it as painless as possible. Definitely a recommend for anyone looking to move near or far. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Dustin and his crew are TERRIFIC! They took great care of my dad’s grand piano (very sentimental to my family) when they transported it up from southern CA up to the Bay Area, with almost 1 year of storage. Not only that but their rates for both storage and delivery were lower than any place I checked and they were very accommodating in terms of scheduling. They are very knowledgeable about pianos and how to handle them well! If you’re looking for piano moving or storage, go to Fog City piano!!!

We moved my mom today to her her new apartment, and Northstar made it so easy! Our movers were super fast, efficient , and friendly!! If I’m not mistaken this is the fourth time that Northstar has helped me move in the past 7 years.  Some time in between I made the huge mistake of hiring someone else; big mistake.  These guys are awesome.  Extremely efficient, very proper and always punctual.

The three guys with Northstar Movers were excellent. They completed the entire job in four hours. Our furniture was handled with care, the guys were friendly, and everything was done quickly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cost effective, quality move!

Just had a great moving experience with North Star moving. David led an excellent team in a difficult and very long move. The guys were awesome-so nice to me and especially  to my kids. Our stuff was moved quickly and very carefully and they took care of the smallest details. They stayed until every ast thing was completely how I wanted it. I would totally recommend North Star moving. David and his guys were great and made what could have been a very stressful moving day a great day!!!!

These guys moved us today and they were awesome. They worked so hard all day and really went above and beyond to help us get set up and situated before they left. All the guys were personable and respectful and they wasted no time. I highly recommend them!

I hired Northstar Movers for the first time at the end of April 2014.  They were fantastic.  They showed up on-time and ready to work.  Three guys showed up and started working right away.  They worked really fast and smart and were able to load up everything in our apartment in under 3 hours.  They were careful with all of our belongings and even wrapped a bunch of our furniture when needed.  At our new place, they also worked fast at putting everything in the proper areas as well as carefully.  I would definitely hire them again as they are very fast, efficient as well as friendly.

Excellent experience in our move. Extremely professional and a lot of experience very helpful. Randy Chicas and his crew (Salvador, Brandon & Carlos), were very accommodating with everything including a large refrigerator, laundry room, big bedrooms, and not forgetting the piano.

Definately had a good experience with Dorone, Hannes, Michael! They arrived promptly and worked quick, and were very professional. Dorone explained all the terms very clearly and there were no hidden costs. Just be advised that due to Cali regulation driving time is charged double – so pick a time that has light traffic.

They were incredible! They got to my house on time and were very courteous and professional. Once they started working they were extremely fast and efficient. I had 3 guys; Jose M., Josue R., and Wilmer C.  They were fantastic and worked great as a team. I hated moving but they made it so much easier. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move!

This is my third time moving with North Star, they all show up on time and were very professional in terms of handling and packing all my stuff.  I had a very short notice time gap to schedule my move (it was only 3 days to be exact), Beatriz was able to confirm my time block within the hour, another call was made the day before the move to confirm moving time.  It was truly a pleasant experience to move with North Star.

Jose, Brandon, and Louis killed it with our move.  Two stops, and all the stairs.  They were fast, efficient and delicate.  I can’t promote them enough.  Northstar was great!!

I love NorthStar! I just used them for my 5th move. Lynn, who I talk to every time makes it super seamless and easy to get things set up. You can buy a Deal on Yelp, it’s definitely worth it.  The team is usually fast and they are efficient as well. I would never move without them again.

Today was our second experience with NorthStar and it was as good as the first. The 3 man crew (Eliseo, Chase, and Christian) were scheduled between 8 and 10 am and arrived promptly at 8:20 am. They were courteous and very nice young men. They worked quickly and efficiently while taking very good care of my daughter’s belongings. We were packed up in about an hour and 15 minutes! The unloading at the storage facility went very smoothly as well. It was the easiest and most painless move I have been involved in! I would recommend them NorthStar to anyone – and look forward to using them again when our daughter moves out!
