North Star movers arrived on time and they packed all the furniture and TV very well. They picked up things from two different locations and were very helpful. They delivered all our stuff to new apartment and arranged the furniture and boxes where we needed them.

Northstar Moving Company has earned 5 Stars and my respect. Johan Garcia and his assistant were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They worked extremely efficiently, therefore the move of one piece of furniture from Mesa to Anthem, AZ took a shorter amount of time than expected. However, the additional tine it took to get through the guard gate and then to my home made the estimated time slightly longer. Johan did not charge me for the additional time and I was very grateful. Also, the office staff was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend Northstar Moving Company and Johan and his assistant to anyone needing a mover based on my personal experience with this company. Was referred to Northstar by a friend and I’m glad I went with them. Very fast, great communicators, and was very careful with all my stuff. I was lucky enough to get the A team and would use them again for my next move. They have a customer for life.
Our firm has worked with NorthStar Moving and Ram Katalan since 2006 on (so far) four moves. We expect to have three more moves to various warehouses over the next month or so.
I believe our first move went from a 30,000 sq. ft. building to 50,000; and it involved furniture, pallets, shelving, etc. for ~ 50 employees and from a two-story building with no elevator. Our second and third moves involved over 20 people and ~12,000 sq. ft. of warehouse inventory from a few different locations.
Today I worked with Ron Cohen and Pedro in a move comprising ~ 20 people and their furniture, shelving, pallets galore, etc. from one of our buildings to another. Although we scoped the job months ago, NorthStar somehow came together on one week’s notice and did this move for us without a hitch — on time, on budget, no issues whatsoever, and everyone was lovely to work with.
We have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience with NorthStar, and I call them whenever we have requirements. When you have a good experience over and over, you certainly don’t want to make changes.
I also love that they’re a local firm to our business in Chatsworth, are a good neighbor and steward in the community, and they try their best to please.

Big thanks to Pedro, Willie, Alfonso and Hector for helping us moving. We have some major pieces of furnitures that need disassembly and assemble, as well as many boxes for adults and small children. It took the crew the entire day to finish moving everything, and they really took care of every box and furniture. Overall, high quality moving service with reasonable price!
We hired NorthStar movers this past January because we saw they had a lot of amazing reviews and they gave us the most reasonable quote moving from Northern CA to Southern CA.
We got our quote virtually through a video call and we got to show how many items we had. We ended up adding more boxes than we originally anticipated last minute and they did not charge us extra.
The group that picked up our items (4 guys) were quick and wrapped our items with extreme care! I’ve never seen so much bubble wrap and plastic being used to wrap everything and I felt at ease when the items were taken.
The guys that delivered our items (Lias and Jose) were SO incredibly friendly and fun to speak with. They were extra careful bringing our items into our home. Extremely genuine people and they were such a happy bunch. If we could get the chance to hire them directly we would!
Overall the speed, price, and care for our items was top notch and we would not hesitate to use them again.
The TL;DR: we hired NorthStar for a cross-country move + storage and they were exceptionally responsive and professional across the board. I 100% recommend them. The folks don’t mess around!
I investigated 4 other full service movers for our Austin-to-NC move and no one came close in customer service or price — and that’s just during the sales call. When the move day came, the whole team rolled in with infectious good spirits and did a fantastic job wrapping our furniture and packing the truck. Though our goods were loaded into a truck, then into storage, and then into another truck again — and we were nervous about that — nothing was lost or damaged. My expectations were that *something* would go wrong. And all that happened was that some terrible weather pushed our delivery date 1 day past our window. Thank you to Lotem, David, Deven (& team), Alejandra, Hong, and the folks who delivered our goods in NC and hauled them waaaay up the steps to our new home.
This is the 4th time I’ve used NorthStar today the A Team moved us out they did above and beyond. They provided great customer service and friendly. They also moved us in a timely manner and everything arrived in perfect condition. Thank you guys keep up the great work.

They have been communicative, helpful in finding solutions to my tricky move, and managed to fit me in the books on very short notice. we’ve used Northstar for two of our moves and they’ve been great both times. always on time and they take good care of our stuff. Prices have jumped a bit higher than I would have liked the past few years but it seems on par with everything else lately. Abel was a great point of contact and was very professional and clear with us throughout the day of our move. I would definitely use them again!

NorthStar movers did a great job moving me from my house to a local condo. They arrived exactly on time and completed the job quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
