As the yelp reviews say, they are amazing.   Got an estimate before our move… initially estimated for 8-9 hours.   They were done in about half that time.  Movers are efficient, friendly and really there to help!   I have recommended them to a few friends already and give them 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

What a amazing experience I had with Northstar Movers. They literally moved me twice as fast as I expected and took extra care with my fragile belongings. I highly recommend North Star Movers.

Northstar did an amazing job helping me move from Alhambra to West LA. Very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond with the move and were able to finish the move under the initial estimate. I will definitely be calling them again for the next move.

I called on a Wednesday to set up a move for Sunday. Stefy was very helpful in arranging this. The movers (Mark Martinez, Ovidio, and Jovanne) arrived 5 minutes to 8am ready to move. They wrapped everything perfectly, nothing was damaged in the move.  They beat their own estimate by 2 hours even with the epic amount of stairs in both places. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I would definitely move with these guys again.

I used NorthStar for the 3rd time this weekend and they were great as always. Prompt, efficient, friendly and total pros. Jadiel, Jesse and Alfonso were my movers and they were fantastic. As always, I highly recommend NorthStar!!

I had them pack and move our entire apartment from Alameda to Mountain View.  The ENTIRE job took 8 hours.  That’s it!! The guys that came (Oscar, Manuel, and Alex) were friendly, very hard working, and super efficient.  I was amazed.  I’ve moved 10 times in the last 12 years.  This was the easiest move of my life, hands down.  I couldn’t believe how everything was perfectly taken care of.  We have a storage unit we need moved down here as well, and will be calling NorthStar when it comes time!

Northstar moving company was one of the best moving companies I’ve used. The crew was professional, curtious, and made sure that all of our possesions were taken care of. Doron, Michael J. R, and Oscar C. did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them if anybody is looking for a great moving company with hard working crews. I will definately use them again for future moves.

The moving industry has a very bad reputation. And they have that reputation for a reason. The scams many of them try to run on you are horrible.

Northstar is priced competitively but you can’t put a price on honesty and amazing service. 

With my last move they not only did an amazing job but also contacted me a week after the move to let me know they had accidentally over charged me $150 (final price should have been less than the estimate). I would have had no way to have caught this myself.

We used these guys to move from the Financial District to South Beach in SF and they were great to work with. Not only informative and thorough in their careful packing but they were fun and quick… Even had time for rolling out the red carpet to our new apartment … muchas gracias Miguel, Manuel and Alegandro!

We had a great experience with North Star. From the very beginning the sent someone to do an estimate. They were very thorough and explained everything clearly. On moving day the guys came early and worked hard all day. They didn’t take any breaks and finished much earlier than expected (which saved us a lot of money). I would recommend them to anyone.

Jason, Rene, and Rodolfo were friendly, efficient, and professional. Service with NorthStar was #amazing. I’d highly recommend them for anyone moving to or from the Bay Area.

Northstar moved my house this past weekend.  James, Javier, and Sushi were  professional, efficient, and quick.  They got the whole move done in less than 3 hours, didn’t damage anything, and got it all done.  I’m planning to use them again to move my girlfriend into our new place in a few weeks.  Great job!

Great Great Great! Although I wish I could have had the exact same crew on the two consecutive days that they helped me with my move, they were all great nonetheless. Gadi was a great help and his estimate was fair and the time he quoted, was the exact time it took. They are very hardworking people and all honest. Will DEFINITELY refer them to anyone I know who is moving. 

Moved from a 6 bedroom to a 4 bedroom home by the way. They did everything meticulously.

These dudes are the best! Incredibly fast, remarkably efficient, very trustworthy, and extremely careful with every piece that was moved. Big props to the entire team – Miguel did an awesome job orchestrating and packing, and Manuel and Javier were fantastic moving and loading everything. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Unbelievable service. Manuel, Javier, Miguel were so great to work with. It was the easiest move I’ve ever had and these 3 were rock stars to get it done quickly but still handled everything with care. Would certainly recommend them and use them again!

Salvador Mendez, Juan Vasquez, and John Henry arrived promptly at 8am and got down to the business of packing and moving all our belongings from Alhambra to Redondo Beach. They were efficient and accommodating. Great care taken to ensure that all our belongings were handled well and that no property was damaged in the transport of everything. If we ever move again I would not hesitate to use Northstar again.

NorthStar is a reliable and efficient moving company.  I was impressed by their honesty and reasonable rates. Moving from the West side to Downtown was a stressful experience since I was alone on moving day.  However, the movers were very helpful and put me at ease.  Nothing was damaged during the process and everything went smoothly.  I am super excited to use them again for my next big move!!

Really fantastic moving from SF to Pacifica. For a 1-bedroom in a tall building to a new apartment on the 2nd floor with stairs, with a 3-men crew, the whole move didn’t even hit their minimal time (3 hours). Total cost is probably about 2/3 of what other highly rated yelp moving services would’ve charged. Crew was friendly and careful with the goods. Would definitely use them again.

Northstar comes through again with 5-star service!  John and his crew were punctual, polite and efficient. He called 1-hour prior to arrival which was very helpful considering I was coming from work to meet them. They loaded up in less than an hour, drive time and unload in less than 2 hours. I’ve used them for multiple moves and trust their service. Thank you for making a stressful day easier!

Joshua and crew made the big delivery today of our belongings that were in storage. I don’t remember having as much stuff as we did, but they delivered everything with special care. We have some big and heavy pieces that required careful maneuvering and even had to take a door off its hinges. The crew was professional, polite, efficient and speedy!  Would absolutely use them again!
