This company was amazing! The $ off deal worked like a charm. They were quick, nice, and super helpful. They were also on time and took great care of our stuff. We used them for 2 moves on the same day, Seriously they were awesome. My biggest fear with moving companies is “Are they going to take a long time to make extra money.” These guys definitely didn’t. From Ron, who came to my house to provide me with my free moving estimate, to the three amazing guys who actually moved us to our new place, it was wonderful experience from start to finish. The moving crew was kind, funny, professional, and all around great! They helped make an otherwise stressful day, virtually pain-free! The pain came from my 4 young kids running around, constantly getting in their way, but they were very sweet with the kids. They took extra good care of all of our belongings, and moved everything exactly where I wanted. When I changed my mind about the location of a dresser, they had no qualms about moving it again. We had a great experience with NorthStar Movers. Stefy was so helpful in scheduling my move and providing all of the details that I needed promptly, and she even called me a couple of days later to make sure everything went ok. The moving crew (Francisco, Jesse, and Julio) was excellent. They were on time, very professional, fast, and efficient. I would definitely recommend NorthStar to any of my friends.
So last week I was looking online for a moving company that was good. I found these guys with 333 and 5 star. So I called and they girls on the phone were helpful and very nice. They called me to confirm two days before.
Day of the move three men came ready to crank out the move. They charge by the hour, but are beasts when moving. I have to admit I was worried about them lagging or getting lost on purpose to waste time. The foreman gave me a estimate, which is always and intended to be high so that you’re always happy at the end. They moved me out and in with a 45 min drive time. From 8:30am to 2:00pm. I would highly recommend this company. I’m sure you may find another good company, but why gamble. I’ll always use these guys from now on.
My experience with NorthStar was GOOD. Their Team arrived at right time and packed my stuffs very well in blankets. Ana and Adam explained all things correctly and delivered my stuffs properly. Overall a good Moving Company with Great price. I will recommend it.

These guys did a great job today, Nemer, Rodolpo and Carlos came, moved all our boxes out of our 3rd floor apartment, and wrapped up our furniture nicely. They were fast, friendly and efficient, would definitely recommend them.

Robert Q. and his team were so helpful and quick! I was able to book the truck less than 48 hours in advance. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and informative and fast! My delicate items were carefully protected and treated with respect. They listened to my concerns about certain items and were thoughtful about the transportation. The whole move took only 4 hours! Will use again!
The Move was so easy thanks to NorthStar. I couldn’t be happier with it. They were very careful with all my furniture. The place I moved into has hardwood floors, so I needed to cover each piece with pads. They gladly held up each piece of furniture (even the heaviest), as I put pads on underneath. The movers were even willing to help rearrange the place I was moving into to. They were even early for the move and did it with great speed and care. Will definitely be using NorthStar in the future!

David and his team were very professional, quick and listened very well to all my moving needs! They were on time and called an hour before like they were supposed to. They were super understanding of my whimsical requests that I flipped flopped on from time to time. Overall, I had a great experience with these guys and will definitely be using them again in the future if the need arises.
This was by far the best and smoothest moves I’ve ever had in the past 10 years and I have moved 6 times in that time frame. The customer service is outstanding and called/emailed to confirm the appointment and even followed up with me after the move to ensure that our move went well. The move itself was flawless and the movers were very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Moving is by far a stressful experience. Ryan, Felix and Oscar C. made my experience quick and easy. Great bunch of guys who got the work done efficiently and effectively. Would use again!
Too easy with these guys. Great communication throughout the whole experience, turned up half an hour into my allocated window, friendly moving team, competitive rate, worked quickly and took care with my stuff. Was only a short move across town but combined with the discount voucher on Yelp, I can’t think of anything bad to say.
We had a good experience with NorthStar. It started with the load-day. Our team leader, Jason, and his crew worked hard and were extremely professional. They packed everything super nicely and handled all our valuables with extreme care. It was as if they were packing their own stuff. They even worked through lunch to get our things loaded so we could be on our way (as we were driving south).
For the delivery, they gave us a window of 1-7 days. We called a couple days afterwards and requested to possibly get it delivered as soon as possible. They were able to accommodate our request and we were very pleased. Cesar, the dispatcher was understanding of our situation and made every effort to deliver early.
The delivery itself was a little challenging. They brought the wrong truck so our stuff was not there. We waited about 2 hours for our truck with our stuff on it. John and his crew worked hard to unload our stuff quickly though. They did it in about 2.5 hours which was great.
Moving Tip – One thing to note when they move boxes or furniture, there is no upside down or right side up – they just move it like a plain box. Therefore, things such as our file cabinet – which we had left our files in were moved around upside down so everything was jumbled. I recommend removing items from things such as dressers, file cabinets, etc. prior to moving.
We also had one piece of furniture missing. Customer service has indicated they are looking into it and will contact me within 24-48 hours. Hopefully they find it. I will update again.
