I have used NorthStar 3 more times since my first review to move around in the peninsula SF Bay Area, most recently last weekend, and need to reiterate how great this service is. I recommend always getting the full pack and move service. They do an amazing job packing your things and take time to make sure all your items are fully protected. It is 100% worth the cost of the service, which is actually fairly reasonable. If you want a stress-free and quick move book NorthStar.

Northstar really provided a great service. From estimating to scheduling and especially the crew that physically made the move for me. Kevin and crew were top of the line. NorthStar Movers are lifesavers! They are the most efficient and professional movers I have ever worked with. I was nervous about hiring movers, but had a good experience with the NorthStar Moving team for a local move in the LA area. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and I actually ended up paying less than I expected because everything went so fast. They did charge for materials, but that didn’t add up like I expected – they were very fair. They made sure to put back together anything they took apart to put in their truck, which in our case was one bed and a few lamps. We haven’t found anything damaged or missing in the move. (To be fair, we did move fragile valuables like work computers, musical instruments, and jewelry ourselves. I would recommend this to anyone hiring movers.) Some other reviewers here have claimed they were offered compensation for a review, but I wasn’t. I’m posting this because I found other reviews helpful when I was researching moving companies so now I’m trying to help as well. I’d recommend NorthStar for local moves in the LA area.

Albert’s team is the best. If you are moving, use Northstar but specifically Alberts team. Literally makes your move 1000 times easier with them. Extremely professional and good people!

My first time using movers and I couldn’t be happier. These movers do it right. From the very beginning the level of customer service has been great. I decided on NorthStar Moving initially because the company stood out from others since they offered to provide a quote after meeting and seeing the space via video chat. Today, the team of four arrived exactly at the time they said they would, and they moved everything into the large truck with efficiency and attention to detail, and honestly helped out with every special request we made. They broke down the beds, safely secured all the furniture, and we even had a good amount of plants. Well, they packed that too! Having experienced professionals with the right tools do all the heavy lifting (literally!) quickly and with care was SO worth it!

I used PODS to move my apartment from Atlanta to Glendale, and my new neighbor recommended Northstar, and I’m so glad I did! Abel and Edgar was  quick, amazing and efficient from start to finish. Additionally, my PODS arrived earlier than expected and after a phone call, then arrived not too long after and changed my window time – which was appreciated.
