I just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Kobe, Abby and Wendy from their accounts/accounting team. For my move, there was a mishap of the walls at my old condo building being scratched. I was initially nervous to contact Tim (the mover who helped me) because I’m so used to companies usually putting on the defense so they don’t have to pay for the damages. However, this was entirely different. Tim, my mover, was extremely professional and referred me to Kobe, who then referred me to Abby/Wendy (I’m assuming in accounting). They helped pay for the damage but what truly impressed me the most was their amazing professionalism and customer service. Every single step, they were courteous, responsive, and extremely helpful. The damages were paid with absolutely no headache and I was honestly blown away by how a small mishap turned into the most painless thing to fix. HUGE props to them on this. I’ve never had a company handle a bad situation so well and make it so painless. Seriously, if you’re not sure about hiring them for a move, just know that they handle any problems with the utmost professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency.

Called Wednesday for an all day Weekend move and they confirmed for Sunday at 8am.
Starting at an 8th floor storage unit (with an elevator;) they picked up part of the load, then dropped part of the load at our new place, where they picked up some more.
Then dropped everything at our old place and picked up more there and took it all to to the new place to unload everything.
Sound like a lot- it was. 830 to 4pm with a short lunch break and they had another

Northstar is awesome. This is my third time now using them and I swear each time gets better and better. My husband and I just moved yesterday and not only were they punctual, courteous, and friendly, they were most importantly efficient, and got the job done fast with no problems. John Henry Wilson III was the lead mover and from beginning to end he was fantastic, organized, careful with our stuff, and not to mention insanely strong!! Our moving timeframe was 9-11am and John called me right around 9 to let me know they were almost there! From then on it was smooth sailing. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to all my family and friends as well as to you yelpers. Their rating on here is truly well deserved. Moving is never fun, but with Northstar, they really make it an easy experience, they are honest, fair, and will have you in your new home in no time. We did a regional move from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The price was significantly higher than two other moves, but this was essentially for an exclusive
move, and we negotiated around exact packing and delivery dates and bringing plants.
The crew at both ends were excellent. They arrived promptly on time, did great protective packing, including some very valuable antique pieces and a
Steinway piano, and worked hard but carefully to load and unload. They did a little extra moving of a few pieces for us at the house and were patient as we

As someone who has been screwed by crooked moving companies in the past ( they’re all over be careful ) it’s a relief to get a company that tells you up front if something’s going to be delayed, cost more, etc…

Northstar was recommended by my mortgage company I recently purchased a home through. Alan arrived on time to give a quote in person. He gave me what I believed to be a fair price qoute. The day of the delivery they showed up on time with a 3 man crew (Jadiel, Antonio, Doron) and worked quickly and efficiently. The guys were personable and thanked me when ever I pitched in. I’ve never used a moving service before but I will never not use one again when I move. And yes I will call Northstar. I would definitely recommend them to others. Fair, honest and hard working.

Whoa! Totally impressed with these guys. They arrived early and didn’t stop working until the job was finished. Jason, Rene and Rodolfo made moving low stress and uncomplicated. These guys are very attentive to every need that we had and were very professional. No damages or scratches noticed so far. Thank you guys! We will be calling again and telling our friends!!
They showed up within the expected time frame, were quick, hard-working, didn’t break anything, and were extremely professional. They explained all of the costs up front, and to be honest, with our help (moving stuff to the wardrobe boxes during the move, having packed the whole house prior to move-in day) they managed to make this move cheaper than we expected.
Our moving team was exceptional (team leader: John Henry Wilson, helpers: Edwin Mazo and Doron Rothstein), and I will for sure use their services again. Don’t even bother checking other companies. Northstar really is the way to go!
