Had a very positive experience with these guys with my move last weekend. Coordinated the reservation through the phone with a friendly employee, and all correspondence was quick and thorough. The movers were 45 mins later than agreed-upon on move day for an unknown reason, but they called to let me know and were friendly as could be. They did a good job wrapping the few things I hadn’t already boxed up (mainly furniture) and packed the truck efficiently. The Yelp coupon was a great savings as well. Recommend them for your next move – fair price for the service and well worth the reduced stress during a move.

Change/moving can be stressful I know, I have had 6 moves with NorthStar already! From the first meeting with Alan N. I knew that I am dealing with a competent and a professional individual. The day of the move, Manny O was the foreman. Manny and his team (Steven H, Anthony H and Jonathan G) moved me in record time and took great care in unpacking the furniture.
What is impressive about them other than knowing what they are doing, is the sense of pride they have in their work!

NorthStar Moving was the BEST at helping me move. I have used them three times already. They are careful with my things and even help me set up some of my furniture at my new place. They are friendly, nice and professional. Very accommodating. Moving is a very stressful time for many people, I find it and change extremely stressful, and NorthStar put my mind at ease and the guys working on all of my moves were very friendly and understanding. I would definitely recommend them.
I had a great experience with my move. Oscar and his team were very professional and courteous. Overall prices were reasonable and definitely worth the money. I didn’t have to worry about anything and didn’t find anything broken.

This is the fourth time I’ve used northstar to move it’s wonderful having them pack me up completely and then unpack me when we get there. they do a great job!
We went with north star because of raving reviews from friends and boy are we glad. They knew the most efficient way to do things and were extremely professional and nice. I had my belongings in storage for a while with NorthStar and when it was time to move into a new place, I had them deliver everything to my place.
The guys called me 30 minutes before they showed up and they were right on time. They worked quickly and moved all of my furniture without any damage. The move was on the fifth floor of a residential building, but that did not seem to slow them or get in their way. They even unpacked and assembled some of my furniture – amazing!
My team was Itzach, Omar and Juanito – all very professional and friendly. They were very organized and all of my things were inventoried and documented. Overall, I recommend NorthStar for both storage and moving. I will definitely use them again.

5 hours door to door across town and unloaded. The whole crew was great, john Henry Wilson III was the team leader and lifted my couch by himself! Christian Aguirre & Luis garza both rocked it. Nothing Brocken, trustworthy and well worth the cost. Highly recommend

I am absolutely amazed with the service I received. This past weekend I hired North Star to move me from SoMa to Western Addition. Jose, Carlos and Allen came a half hour ahead of time and had my entire apartment packed and loaded in the truck in under 45 minutes. Not only did they handle my things with care, they went as far as to set up my new apartment the way I wanted it, including putting my bed frame together. With the Yelp coupon I had, this was an amazing deal! I will definitely be hiring North Star the next time I move.
I’ve had two moves now with Northstar. The latest was with Jonathan, Juan, and Antonio. They again got my move done in record time with no problems. They did their best to be efficient and to take care of my things even though some of my stuff is kinda crappy, they still treated it with respect. The peace of mind the provide with a move is amazing. I don’t have to worry about having enough tape or boxes – they bring extras with them and pack for me. I truly appreciate how they tried to get the time of the move down to 3 hours (the minimum) and succeeded.
