I had such a wonderful experience with this company. I was under a lot of stress moving my godmother across the country all while I was remote in another state and everything went so smooth. But most of all the driver Rafael and his team in Florida went above an beyond for us. We made last minute changes and decisions and they were so accommodating. My godmother felt happy and safe at her new residence/facility with hugs from Rafael! They even made her bed up for her. I’m so grateful for them and the ease they provided during a stressful time where I couldn’t physically be there to oversee everything. Thank you so much Rafael, Eran, Yonah, Bruce, and Jason!!!

We just had our second move with NorthStar and returned for good reason – they’re great. Arrived on time, handled loading an entire house and several unwieldy delicate objects, and delivered it/unpacked/and checked in with us throughout to make sure objects were placed as we wished.

Alberto and his team showed up on time and wrapped everything, provided wardrobe boxes and carted my life from one apartment to another. The guys were very kind and I greatly appreciate all the help. Our crew was Kevin R, Jefferson A, and Jose G. Best moving experience I’ve ever had. These guys were absolutely amazing! Showed up on time and worked fast. Super gracious and polite and even helped us set up furniture that was being delivered at the same time. We had a few last minute items they needed to box up and they did so without the slightest fuss. Totally went the extra mile for us. Just a good group of guys with great attitudes. I will use Northstar for every single move at this point.
I was so hesitant on hiring movers for the first time. But having a back injury and friends schedules not lining up I took the risk and oh was I worrying for nothing. Emmanuel and Santos were in charge of my 1 apartment move. And they made sure everything and anything with what I wanted was heard. They made the move seem as if it was their own move. The amount of care and consideration is outstanding. The move provided weird angles and turns but they adapted and ensured everything was how I wanted. Every aspect of my move with NSM was incredible. They responded to me within a few hours from my initial inquiry. The woman that I spoke to over the phone arranged everything perfectly for me. They had availability and were very helpful and explaining all the different services they could offer to support my move.
Flash forward to moving day, Manny, Alfonso, and Willy were freaking awesome. They showed up on time, were incredibly efficient, were super personable and nice, and honestly a joy to work with all around. They handled all of my items with care and did an amazing job wrapping and unpacking.

this company is fantastic!!! i moved from los angeles to new york in spring 2022, and from my first phone call to northstar to the unpacking of my last box in brooklyn, i knew i was in good hands and that they’re really, really good at this. moving can be such a traumatic, stressful and scary experience, and they made it shockingly easy. they delivered white-glove service to this white-knuckled customer. i know that sounds corny. it’s also true.
alex (thank you!) inventoried the contents of my house in a thorough video call and was patient and attentive through several followup calls and emails in which i kept adjusting that inventory and changing my mind about what i wanted to keep and what i wanted to throw out. alex and kristi (thank you!) talked me through my insurance options. on moving day, four men showed up exactly on time and took about four hours to pack up the entire contents of my house (i literally didn’t touch a box) and sort out and tag everything that was going to brooklyn and everything that was to be disposed (i was still changing/updating my mind as they worked). they were efficient, careful and just plain nice. really!
they gave me a three-week window for the actual delivery on the other side of the country, and delivered everything (actually, another company does the delivery, though northstar makes all the arrangements) on day one of that window. nothing was harmed. nothing was out of place.
a million thanks to everyone at northstar (i also dealt with julie, valery and emily) for removing 99 percent of the stress from a stressful life event, and making it, weirdly, almost fun. five stars, easy.
They did a great job getting me moved out of my place and into my new one in under 4 hours. Abel, Augustine and Alejandro (the “A” team!) were great and responsive!
Scheduled on short notice and had some oversized pieces for my move — but Albert, Wilber, Andres and the whole NorthStar team went above and beyond to quickly and safely get me sorted. My fourth move with NorthStar and there’s really no other option.
NorthStar Moving Company was the greatest. We have only used movers twice and this was our first time with NorthStar. Although they had the highest quote we received, we decided to go with them after being offered an in-person walkthrough with an experienced specialist. Ron looked through our 2BR in just a few minutes but gave us tons of advice that helped us prepare for our move. He was also super responsive when we had questions.
When William and his team arrived on our move date, they were not only efficient and professional–they were super friendly and careful! Not only did they finish the whole job in 5 hours, they were amiable and pleasant despite the 100 degree heat. We’re not done unpacking yet but not a single thing has been damaged so far. We could not do enough to thank these guys. We made sure to have cold water for them and tipped as much as we could afford. They were worth every penny.
Awesome company and great employees. Punctual and super effecient. Moved from out of state to Austin and the whole process was super easy and extremely positive. Offered great rates as well, much lower than other companies we looked into. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had Jairo and Juan’s team help us move today from Santa Monica to Long Beach and they were amazing. They hoisted heavy dressers and beds up over the balcony, and still worked so quickly we got done in just over 6 hours when the quote thought it would take 10 hours! All of this on the second hottest day of the year at 90 degrees! They were on time and efficient and super professional and helpful. recommend! No bogus overcharges, no issues with breaks or scratches, everything went smoothly. Thanks for your help guys!

Had a great moving experience with Jairo and Kevin who helped unload all my items and were thoughtful and friendly throughout the whole process! They were willing to make any changes or adjustments to placement of my items and were efficient and helpful!
I’m thankful that the company does moves within California and takes really good care of all the items they move. I do wish that the window for delivery was shorter in duration overall (quoted between 2 and 10 days) as it just made it more complex regarding making sure someone would be available at the apartment on delivery. However, they were very prompt and informed me of when they would be arriving for delivery and came exactly on time.
All in all, great service and felt in great hands with Jairo and Kevin!
I highly recommend North Star Moving Company- professional, attention to detail, amazing – organized and everything packed with care – high end items – and small and large. Moving is a very anxiety producing life event and North Star made it comfortable for us. From start to finish with the quote to the move and after we were extremely pleased and will use them again. With each referral and each of my own personal experiences, they continually go above and beyond the call of duty and get better every single time. I had a LOT of stuff to move and as prepared as I naively thought I was, I hadn’t even put a dent in what needed to be done. They showed up on time, ready to go and hit the ground RUNNING!!! Jairo insisted that I sit back and let him and his two associates handle everything and I do mean everything. Not only did they help me finish packing and get my last items ready to go, they did so with the kind of care exhibited when one is dealing with their own precious items. Not to mention, they did so SWIFTLY!!! They know how to hurry without rushing and as a result, everything was able to move along just. perfectly.
Jairo and crew were personable and attentive to every single detail I would bring forward…and always with a smile. This isn’t common in the service industry, however I’ve consistently experienced this level of professionalism when dealing with NorthStar.

I’d like to send a special shout out to Gabby who was able to accommodate my Sunday morning move within a short 48-hour notice!!! I was so busy packing and sorting that I forgot to actually make the reservation, Smh. A huge thank you to Abel, Adrian, and Juan with my most recent move this past weekend when it was almost 100 degrees out!! They were timely and incredibly efficient in packing my things up and getting them out of my home! Individually wrapping and packing anything I needed, taking apart bed frames, and handling every item with care was so appreciated! They truly went above and beyond especially with keeping all of my things organized. I highly recommend going through this company if you’re ever in need of movers whether it be a big or small move!!
