My family has moved with Northstar Moving three or four times and each time they go the extra mile and are very professional. They’ll work with you ahead of time to get a sense of how big the move will be and what you’ll need in terms of boxes and preparation ahead of the move day. They’ll work with you on problem solving such as fitting couches through narrow and stubborn sliding glass doors. Their movers are friendly, honest and reliable.

These guys were so friendly, efficient and organized. All moving labels were printed with my name on it so they could keep my stuff together for my out of state move from LA to Seattle. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing when it arrived at the destination, and everything arrived as it should. I would use them again.

I never write review but felt compelled based on my experience with Northstar. I moved 3.5 years ago to the Bay Area and had a terrible experience with a moving company so I was very cautious when selecting a mover to oversee our move back to Texas.
I have to say NorthStar Moving Company exceeded all of my expectations. Their level of customer-service and attention to detail is unmatched in the industry – costs were incredibly transparent, their movers attention to detail in packing your personal belongings was unparalleled and our things were treated with the upmost care, and boxes arrived even earlier than anticipated. Moving in general is stressful, but a cross country move is difficult, and NorthStar went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of.
I cannot say better things about this moving company – would recommend 10/10 to anyone moving locally or across the country. Their staff, specifically, Wendy was a pleasure to work with and made our experience an overall joy! Thank you Northstar!!!

Albert, Wilbur, Andreas and Alonzo were my super heroes today! Ten stars – they took on the truck literally everything! I only need to return to give back my keys. 60 + boxes and sensitive objects where expertly packed and my stuff is unblemished. Such a relief for anyone moving alone and beyond. Kevin R, Alejandro G and Enrique were our movers in LA today and they were absolutely amazing!! They showed up with such kind and helpful attitudes, got straight to work and were sure to keep us filled in on everything they were doing. They set up all our furniture, TV on its stand and even hung our plants. We will never use another moving company again, would leave 6 stars if I could!!!
Albert’s team was incredibly polite, professional, and thorough. All items were safely protected during the move and zero items were damaged despite the complex routes they had to manage during the moving process. I could not be happier with the moving experience.
The three gentlemen that helped me with their move deserve a raise. Unfortunately I only remember one of their names– William, but he and the other two gentlemen went above and beyond. They packed and loaded my place so carefully and efficiently. Not a single scratch or break. My roommate has a gaming pc that she built and they did the most to ensure that it was protected, they even set it back up on her desk at the new place and made sure it powered on and was working as it was before the move. I had barely packed when they arrived and they got right to it and had a great attitude and were super understanding of the way I wanted things done. It was a super short distance move, but not an easy one in terms of location but they still did a 10/10 job despite the insane stairs and incredibly heavy furniture. I had my closet colour coded at the first place and they made sure to unpack it in the new place exactly how it was. These guys were just so great. I was the only one in town for the move but something in my gut told me I was more than fine to leave them to pack while I ran a few move out/ move in errands. I have opened all the boxes now and not a single thing missing or harmed. While unpacking in the evening I couldn’t find some pillow cases and a robe that I really liked but I knew they had packed them so I texted this morning (the day following the move) and immediately he texted back (it’s early for a Sunday-8AM) before I could even reply, he called and told me exactly which box and what room– and there it was! This team was super great and I hope all their employees are this caring and trustworthy. Will definitely recommend to friends that having moving / packing needs.

I am blown away by the speed, efficiency, professionalism, and amazing positive attitude of Kevin and Jose. NorthStar is the best moving company because of their fantastic workers. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Before they showed up, I was nervous, stressed, and distracted by my young child. From the original quote estimate to final move-in in Dana Point, CA (from West Hollywood), everything went perfectly. This was our third local move in the last 8 months due to a home flood and I’m thankful we had Ron with NorthStar to get us settled. The guys showed up on time; they were courteous, communicative, and careful navigating thirty stairs to the front door which was not an easy feat. Albert, the foreman, was very organized and had a wonderful team of guys who were professional and easy to work with. I’ve worked with several movers over the years and without hesitation I will use NorthStar again for future moves. If you’re looking for movers call Ron and get Albert and his crew to move you in.

Hi. My name is Connie and I hired NorthStar for my move today. Dave came out to my house. I had seen their five star on Yelp and I thought I’ll get a recommendation from them and see what they would charge and what they would do. It was wonderful. Dave was fantastic. He told me everything that was going to be done and how it was going to be done. Well, they called me this week and told me exactly what time they would be there, and they arrived right on time. The gentleman were wonderful. Everything was moved to perfection. They told me exactly what kind of guess and how long it would take, and they were just shy of one hour. I’m doing this and it was great. Sometimes where we placed some of the furniture, I had to ask them to move it. They were so kind, did it without any problems. They even helped put my Christmas tree up. So a week ahead of time, I can’t say how wonderful they are. Please, if you’re considering a move in Texas Hire NorthStar, I have no affiliation with them, but they are really great and I love these guys. They were terrific. Johan, Pablo and Jose were great! They worked so hard and quickly. Nothing was broken. Nothing damaged. They unloaded two 16 ft PODS that were fully packed in 3.5 hours. I can’t thank you enough guys for the hard work. NorthStar was great. They answered my request for a quote quickly. Answered the phone every time I called. I had to delay the unload of the pods by two days due to Pods having equipment issues. They were so flexible. Thanks NorthStar! I hope to God I don’t have to move again but if I do, I will call you!
